Edge of Tomorrow uses the same storytelling method as "Groundhog's Day", "Looper" or "Source Code" and surprisingly brought some of that "Groundhog's Day" humor along for the ride. Major Cage is a fish out of water as he is suited up in the high-tech exo-skeleton battle armor and the creators use the time looping moments to successfully hilarious moments. Bottom line, Tom Cruise makes great movies and "Edge of Tomorrow" is no exception. It is everything that is great about summer blockbusters and it is everything that has been forgotten about cinema in general. There once was a time when you weren't so certain about the fate of the characters in your movie, full-well knowing that they are either invincible or planned for the sequel. There once was a time when action movies made you actually feel something other than, "Eww, that was cool." And it does that as well.

All You Need Is Kill / Edge of Tomorrow / Live Die Repeat is a really good science fiction movie. The movie was poorly promoted and very few people went to see it despite the good reviews. Maybe people avoided it because of Tom Cuise's previous SF film Oblivion which also did poorly at the box office. The big difference between Edge of Tomorrow and Oblivion is that Edge of Tomorrow doesn't just look good, it is good. The movie is basically a science fiction, alien invasion, war movie meets Groundhog Day. The original title of the book the movie is based on is All You Need Is Kill. The studios thought this title was too strong and chose Edge of Tomorrow. When the movie didn't do well at the box office, they moved the title Edge of Tomorrow to the bottom of the box in small letters and renamed the movie LIVE DIE REPEAT. Yeah, that's a much better title. Whatever you want to call the movie doesn't matter as much as the fact that this is a good movie that a lot of people missed for whatever reason.

I like this movie and the actors. It was on sale for a good price.

Ground Hog Day but with a Sify twist alien and human guts. Enjoy.

Tom Cruise action film with a cool twist. Definitely worth the money.

Edge of Tomorrow is a well-acted, well-made film that breathes new life into the war/science fiction genre. The film is able to laugh at itself occasionally and contains many memorable moments of genuine humor. The ability to blend so much into one film reflects the dedication and work put into it by the cast and crew. The picture quality on the blu ray is excellent, and the special features are fairly interesting. However, Edge of Tomorrow is not among the few blu ray titles that contain hours and hours of features. A commentary track by the director or the cast would've been highly appreciated for this release. Still, the Best Buy exclusive adds another brief behind the scenes documentary to the disc. Edge of Tomorrow on blu ray is worth the purchase. Fun action films with hints of emotion and intelligence are rare these days.

Thoroughly enjoyed this movie. Great plot, phenomenal acting.

I recently purchased a New Samsung Q90T 65" (2020) Q-LED TV and matching Q950T Samsung Soundbar and 4K UHD Blu-ray Player and wanted to purchase a few really good blue-ray Movies to show off the picture and ATMOS surround audio. I saw this Movie at the Cary, NC Best Buy Magnolia Store as one of the Demo Movies and I said I just have to grab that movie when I get my new system setup. This DVD does not disappoint. Great movie with plenty of action scenes with very good Surround sound. And I got it on sale! Better than going to the Movies, especially now since COVID-19.

It's a good entertaining futuristic science fiction movie.
