The definition of insanity is to do the same thing over and over and expect different results. That old expression is taken to new heights in this science fiction film, with a good cast and script. The idea of re-living a past experience on continuous loop is obviously not original, but it's done well enough to sustain the movie until the credits roll.

I had seen this movie in the theaters last summer and the new Blu-ray does a great job of bringing it to the small (or at least smaller) screen. The transfer is excellent and the sound is exceptional. The movie itself has a great blend of action, suspense, comedy, and surprises. If you like the Tom Cruise movies of old you will love this.

I enjoyed this very much. it was much better in 3d I think. The action is nonstop and Cruise is great as the lead. The story is not unlike a sci-fi ww2 story but it is suttle in it's approach to that end. Whether you like Cruise or not you have to admit he transforms into a great character in this movie.

Love Die Repeat is both comedic and action packed. Take a normal guy, force him live the same day over and over, and watch him becomes the best at whatever he is doing. In this case, it is a hard nosed soldier. Add a little morbid humor, and you have a movie a little reminiscent of Bill Murray's Groundhog's Day with some good action.

This is a great movie. Interesting plot, great characters, fun to watch. The confusing marketing did it no favors. Cruise is great in this, Blunt is better. If it's on sale, pick it up, it belongs in your collection. If you really like it, pick up the "all you need is kill" manga, which this movie is an adaptation of.

I am not much of a movie buyer anymore but recently picked up a 3D TV and wanted to get a few 3D movies in my library that I actually liked. 3D movies are still doing well at theaters but it seems like 3D home releases are drying up. Couldn't pass up this one for $9.99.

When I bought this online for a store pickup they did not have the actual movie in stock (BB showed a different blu-ray on the website). The manager at my store understood the issue and he resolved my issue by allowing me to get a similar blu-ray with more features. It was really nice for him to do this.

My wife and son were interested in seeing this movie. I was not too interested because I expected the science fiction aspect to be too much for my logical brain to enjoy. My family loved the movie, and I too found it to be entertaining. The fast-paced action enabled me to enjoy the movie without dwelling on the absurdity of the story.

Outstanding special effects and intricate plot which unfolds with one unexpected twist after another. Great acting by Cruise and his co-stars. They collectively make the movie's premise captivating, believable, and enjoyable. I can't wait to get my future 60" flat screen to fully appreciate the visual intensity of this movie in Blu-Ray.

I was skeptical about another Tom Cruise alien movie but I was pleasantly surprised by this movie. The plot was refreshingly unique and the acting was very good. The special effects is where the movie really shines ( I bought the 3D version) , the alien design and futuristic weapons were really cool. I'm very pleased with my purchase and surprised the movie didn't do better in theaters.

It’s not a kinder, gentler retelling of the movie Groundhog Day, it’s an in your face, blast you to pieces and do it again retelling of Groundhog Day! Imagine having to relive your worst day over and over until you get it right. In life, that would suck, but in this movie, it rocks!

Loved this film. It's a popcorn movie with depth. Very well done with good characters and story and great action. Picture and sound on blu-ray are excellent. If you have a home theater speaker setup crank it up! The day after I watched this I wanted to watch it again, and I can't remember the last time I thought that about a movie.

Great sci-fi actioner with a beautifully executed premise. The Blu-ray itself is also top-notch, especially this Best Buy exclusive version with extra bonus features. Whether you want to call this "Live. Die. Repeat." or "Edge of Tomorrow" or "All You Need is Kill" (the original manga's title) doesn't matter. Just check it out!

"On your feet Maggot!!" Classic line from a classic movie. Tom Cruise & Emily Blunt deliver in this action packed sci-fi thriller!! Great plot to this one which will keep you on the edge of your seat on the first viewing! But just like the movie this one can be re-lived over and over again!!

Once again Best Buy is requesting my review of a recent purchase. I bought this DVD with a gift card at a good price. As usual I have not had time to watch the DVD but I have seen the movie on a rental DVD and I thought is was OK, but worth watching again, someday when I have the time.

If you like Tom Cruise you will like this movie. It's kinda like groundhog day where Tom cruise keeps waking up after being killed multiple times after he retains the powers of the so called alien race that transpires earth. He has to find out what has happend to him and figure out a way to use his new found power to finish the day. It has some funny moments and a good ending.

This is one of the most original SiFi movies that I have ever watched. Tom Cruise and Emily Blunt were outstanding in this 'earth-battle-for-survival' movie. This film was ACTION packed, original, very funny at times, well cast, and did I say ORIGINAL. This movie is simply awesome. One of my favorites.

Intense, T. Cruise acting as well as supporting actress had a bit of range to their roles that could have been expanded with more character. However, story line is creative, intense, nothing in poor taste, and will definitely be a repeat watched movie. Highly recommend adding to your library for the occasional memory refresh.

This is a thoroughly enjoyable film. It has excellent action sequences and special effects as well as good acting by the leads and many of the supporting roles. Although slow to set the background for the movie, once the "life-die-repeat" cycle starts, it is very taut. Excellent film editing keeps the pace moving. Truly fun.

Very good action film. Tom Cruise has another hit movie. Storyline was easy to follow. Good movie for older families. Future setting and special effects were believable. Emily Blunt's character was portrayed as a strong woman. Women would like this movie because of her character. There was enough of a storyline to keep the movie interesting. It wasn't just special effects.
