I have found this to be a movie that may need a second viewing, I liked on the first one. Tom Cruise is not a super hero and has to get used to his "condition" which has some humorous moments. Emily Blunt is the only one who knows what is happening having gone through the same. I enjoyed though you may need additional viewings.

This movie, to my surprise, was amazing. The plot picked up very quickly and it was a lot of action. The story line was interesting, but a little warning....it was jumpy at point and a lot of time switches, so it can be confusing if you are not paying attention. Overall, a great flick!

Taps was great, Jerry Maguire, Minority Report, Last Samurai were very good movies. But since these, He has let me down with the Mission Impossible series. I hadn't planned on going to see or ever buy another one of his movies, but this one changed my mind. I was a lot better than I expected and I would recommend it to a friend...

This is a decent take on the Manga graphic novel - All you need is kill. Although it could be misinterpreted as a sci-fi 'Groundhog Day'. The effects are very good, as you'd expect and if you like this genre, (and I do), then this is a good rendition of the original story. Whether Cruise is right for this role, I'm still unsure.

Tom Cruise is an Army officer demoted to a private and sent out to kill an alien enemy in England. He kills a special alien and acquires the ability to relieve the day over again when he dies in battle. He relieves each day trying to find the correct path to kill the head alien, without being killed, and save the world!

Doug Liman did an amazing job with this film. Easily ranks among Cruise's best action films. This blu ray looks and sounds incredible. The movie was mastered in 2K with its effects finished in 2K as well so if a UHD release comes out, it isn't worth it... Get THIS!

Did not think I would like this movie as the reviews said he kept getting killed over and over but it was handled in a great way. It was amazing how he changed from a wimp to a soldier as his life kept ending. There is even humor in this movie. But the special effects made this movie!

saw it in theaters and im glad i did, so far ive never been dissapointed in a tom cruise action flick and this continues with that, the story is great, the action is superb, and the special effects were really well done, it was a real shame that it didnt do better in the theaters

This movie has a little bit of everything Sci-Fi , Drama , Thriller , Comedy , even a little bit of a Love story.....Tom Cruise , Emily Blunt , and even the Scene stealing Bill Paxton as a great Drill Sgt....was great on the big screen so i had to get it on Blu-Ray when i could.

I throughly enjoyed this movie, I never read about it, so I did not have any expectations. I saw it once and bought the bluray when it was on sale, I play it in the background when we have guests. The majority of the time people have no idea of this movie and just get mesmerized and start watching.

There was great chemistry between Tom Cruise and Emily Blunt in this awesome action packed Si-fi movie. The death and reset over and over surprisingly held my interest and kept me on my toes. The movie was well written, and I would highly recommend it.

Who doesn't enjoy seeing Tom Cruise get killed over and over again? Besides the problems with traveling back in time, this was a pretty good science fiction movie, lots of action, and Emily Blunt acting bored. I having trouble keeping track of how many times I've watched it. At least twice, but it seems like so many more.

If you're thinking this is "Ground Hog Day" (starring Bill Murray), it's not. While both are excellent films, the story line, special effects, and Tom Cruise and cast make this an excellent film worth watching over and over...in addition to the extras available on the BD/DVD set.

I was expecting a typical Boom Boom movie to entertain my husband and his speakers. We're not generally huge fans of Tom Cruise, but I thought the premise sounded interesting. We were pleasantly surprised by the unexpected humor and really great way the movie was filmed. I would definitely recommend this movie!

I like most of the movies Cruise stars in, and this one is no exception. The only thing I don't like about buying the blue ray copies, is once you've seen the ending, it's tough to watch them again (like Oblivion). However, this one I rented on DirecTv, and THEN purchased the blue ray. I'll watch it at least once more....

Pretty humorous with the Groundhog Day setup. Cruise and Blunt are both good but there isn't a lot of support around them aside from some special effects that become repetitive as Cruise works through his mistakes to try to achieve a desirable outcome in the war by adjusting his strategy each time he or a loved one dies.

This is an awesome sci-fi movie. Had to own; both Emily blunt and Tom Cruise played their roles as if they were made exactly for them. Not sure why this movie didn't get more attention, was one of the best sci-fi movies out there, with an original story line.

I am not the biggest Tom Cruise fan so I was hesitant to check this out. As it turns out, this is popcorn, Sci-Fi entertainment at a high level. It has a tight, suspenseful story and solid performances all around. If you missed this in the theater, don't miss this on on disc!

I was expecting a good action movie with a lot of special effects, and I got that. What I wasn't expecting was how great the story was too. I loved how the ending kept me guessing. A great movie, well worth watching!

The effects and action are great in this film and it's built on an interesting concept. Not all the acting performances ring 100% believable but those that really count do (cruise, blunt) Even though it's based on time repeating itself, it doesn't get annoying. If you're looking for a fun sci-fi one-off pick this up!
