I was not in a big hurry to buy this film. It looked like it was going to be a rip off of Elysium (which I didn't care for). I was unexpectedly surprised at how much I enjoyed the film. The characters are very likable and the story line is even a bit believable; albeit in the future. I feel it was worth the money spent.

This is one of the better movies from Tom Cruise in recent years. His character is very interesting to start the film, and he grows as a person throughout the duration of the movie. Great actions, interesting sci-fi elements, and engaging story.

I actually enjoyed the movie, either a bad title, a bad opening date, or Tom Cruise burn out doomed this movie from the start. It got stellar reviews and I agree with them. Much better movie then I thought it would be, just a combination of a bad choice of title and bad marketing, but thats Hollywood these days......

I watched this movie yesterday again. I watch this type of movies to see how one person strives through all obstacles, all problems, to get it (whatever it is) done. Maybe I'm just a want-a-be hero or I like the action, but bottom line for whatever reason, I like the movie.

Tom Cruise and Emily Blunt are killer in this action/sci-fi version of Groundhog Day! Cruise relives the same day until he and Emily Blunt figure out how to once and for all defeat the alien invaders who are seemingly unbeatable.

Not all sci-fi movies have to be an independent film or comic book movie to be good or push the genre forward. Tom Cruise is still a great action hero and this movie is one that brilliantly showcases his strengths as an actor. Great story and performances make this movie a must see.

This is a great "time loop" movie that provides the metamorphosis of Tom Cruise becoming "cruise control". Emily Blunt plays it cool while Bill Paxton enjoys a cameo role. Action, action and more action. Think of Groundhog Day combined with a Rocky style training sequence.

I missed this in theaters but this is one of the best original (yes, I know it's based on a manga) Sci-Fi films of the past 10 years. This is Emily Blunt's best performance, and there is a nice balance of action, humor, and tension.

Live. Die. Repeat. Edge of tomorrow has an interesting concept on genre. The scifi action is above average, but I thought the comedy thrown in was a big plus. This makes for an entertaining movie that everyone can enjoy. I never enjoyed watching someone die so much before.

what can i say about edge of tomorrow it is one of the best action movies of the year from start to finish and it has comedy where it needs it so if you are not a tom cruise fan still check it out bc it is worth watching bc of the action in it so check it out you regret it

Ever wonder what living a day over again and again is like during an alien invasion? Well, look no further - this movie will tell you in detail. It's a good action flick with a good cast.

Good, original story. Good acting and really no complaints. The best way to describe the plot is Groundhog Day+Independence Day: an alien invasion and the protagonist has to figure out how to stop it, but every time he dies the day resets for him. Buy it, it's worth it!

Not too bad of a movie. Very fast paced and plenty of action. The storyline is ok but needs a bit more substance.Not an academy award winner but entertaining. Seemed slow at first but then picked up. The acting was ok for Tom Cruise , , seems to always acts the same in most of his movies. Great special effects.

Like Bill Murray's Groundhog Day, Tom Cruise finds himself reliving the same day over and over in a Sci-Fi thriller that is not for those who don't like movies that you have to pay attention to. The plot is a little complicated, but the sic-fi action coupled with a little dark humor makes this an enjoyable movie.

I really liked the movie, but would have liked better plot development. A plot development like in Tom Cruiise's other move Oblivion, would have helped tremendously. The imagery was great would have preferred a better ending after all the breathtaking action previously.

I know alot of people judge Tom Cruise because of stuff he has done outside of filming, but those aside this movie is one of his best and even if your not a fan of Cruise you would be satisfied with this film. The effects are some of the best and look very realistic.

I'm not the biggest fan of Tom Cruise but this movie caught me by surprise. A friend recommended it and it blew me away. I think it was very under the radar while in theaters but I'm glad I caught it on DVD. Definitely worth the $3.99 on Black Friday

This action-packed movie was awesome! It is a well thought out and intelligent film. This is one of Tom Cruises' best performances of recent years. The movie seems a little repetitive at the beginning, but as the story unfolds it all makes sense at the end of the film.

This movie is probably in my top 10 sci-fi movies ever, in the company with movies like Blade Runner, The Matrix, Avatar, Serenity, Total Recall, Terminator, Independence Day, 2001: A Space Odyssey, Pitch Black and The Empire Strikes Back.

Edge of Tomorrow (AKA Live Die Repeat in a post-release title change) is an entertaining sci-fi movie involving time loops and Tom Cruise getting killed a lot (it's OK; he gets better). If it hasn't already attained cult status, it probably will.
