For an alien movie it could give a better understanding of how they got there and what their motives are for the human race. But the movie showed a lot of good special effects and a good storyline on how the humans ( just three humans actually) where able to defeat the aliens.

It’s a sci-fi Groundhog Day but with more action. It is the perfect mix of blustering action and sci-fi that is best enjoyed without picking at it too much.

The Aliens are rather unique and Cruise does many of his own stunts. The ending is unusual in that Cruise could continue to come back and start his life over as many times as he wants, (at least until he gets another blood transfusion).

Good movie. Lost my original copy so bought a replacement. It's a DVD so it's good.

Solid movie that struggles even today as to its own title and identity. Well acted, fantastic visuals, but it is groundhogs day in the future so if that sounds awful you may not like it. That said it was a great movie.

If you don't like Groundhog Day or time travel, you won't like this movie. There is a time loop in this movie, but the repetition is handled well, so you're not seeing the exact thing a bunch of times. I thought this was a great movie.

I miss when Tom Cruise did these films. I love that he's still in the MI films, but I miss the years when he made War of the Worlds and Collateral and Edge of Tomorrow. Come on, Tom, come back.

This is an amazing movie! Great performances and fantastic story. Wished this did better in the theater, it is hard to imagine getting good movies like this when a terrible movie like the transformers and TMNT are making so much money.

Ordered this movie online and it arrived fast and in super protected packaging assuring it's protection! As for the movie, it is great scifi action flick with a Groundhog Day style storyline! Goes to show Tom Cruise has still got it!

This movie is great at the beginning you don't really get it why times goes back ,present, and future , the clue is at the end of the movie with Tom and Emily .

This movie was great. Amazing special effects and action sequences. The story is also pretty good for being written on the fly during the making of the film. It has all the elements needed to please both action and sci fi movie fans.

Great storyline and fun to watch. Interesting story that includes alien invasion and time travel. Glad I was able to get this in Blu-ray, but really wish it had been available in 4K.

This is a great movie that I can watch over and over with my kids. They are too old for cartoons and this movie has enough action and excitement to keep them entertained.

I got this on Black Friday for a song and I'm glad I did. It isn't the best movie I've ever seen, but it is clever and entertaining (even with the plot holes). It is engaging and while confusing at times, it manages to not go off into neverneverland like some movies do.

Entertaining movie with a thoughtful execution of a familiar premise (i.e. the sci-fi Groundhog Day). Stands up well to repeated viewings. Great characters.

Tom Cruise has delivered one of his best performances. Story line is mediocre but the special effects coupled with Tom Cruise's acting is what grabs the attention of the audience. I have watched it twice already and will be watching it couple more times in coming months.

It's a great action movie with just the right amount of comedy and drama. The actors did an excellent job. Editing was perfect with attention to details. It was entertaining to watch. I downloaded it to my phone and watch it often.

30 seconds in be careful of the 14hz notes that roll through. Sets the table for the rest of the movie Lots of action and Tom and Emily work well together. Some have complained about the ending but it fits perfectly with the story.

Other than the unfortunate title, this is quite a good movie with a complex plot for what appeared to be just another video game action movie. Kind of wish I'd seen it at the theater. If you liked the plot of Source Code, you'll probably enjoy this one
