We've seen it before. Guys dies over and over and repeats the same day but Edge of Tomorrow throws in some unique twists to the concept. I'm not a huge Tom Cruise fan but I liked his performance in this movie. He starts out as a coward who doesn't want to fight the alien threat but overtime becomes braver and braver until he's a lean, mean, alien killing machine. It's the uniqueness and twists that really sell this movie. You think you have it figured out but then it throws a curve ball. Not too many movies can pull that off and successfully deliver a satisfying experience but Edge of Tomorrow does it smoothly. I had problems with a lot of cross talk on my Samsung 55'' 3DTV, It really bugged me and this is one of the few movies in my collection to give me any problems. I can't for certain that it is entirely based on my hardware because I didn't experience this much cross talk in the vast majority of my 3D collection. You may or may not experience any cross talk while watching this movie but I experienced a lot of it.

The silly "LIVE DIE REPEAT" title nearly buried this film which got rebranded as EDGE OF TOMORROW. This is a solid Tom Cruise Action thriller. I highly recommend it. Theater goes skipped it due to a dumb title (yes, it happened). Then Marketing added the EDGE OF TOMORROW rag and Boom. More folks paid attention. It's like they called Batman Smells Like Guano and no one came. This alien invasion film involves High Tech and Time Travel. Pay Attention and have plenty of popcorn on hand. I highly recommend this one. I also own a sweet Steelbook edition. (this is my loaner copy -- if necessary)

This is a great movie for adults not for kids men would love it

Finally purchased this movie! Another great movie by Tom Cruise!

This is a great, under-rated sci-fi movie. You may like or disike Tom Cruise but he does choose some good sci-fi movies to start in, Emily Blunt is also great, as are all the supporting actors including Bill Paxton. One word of warning, though - I ordered this blu-ray movie expecting to receive the Ultraviolet digital movie as well. In the product photo, the box says Blu-Ray + Digital Copy although the product description did not specifically promise this (however this is not consistently called out in the Best Buy desciptions in general). However the disc I received did not say digital copy on it, just blu-ray. Because of this, I actually returned the movie (unopened) and purchased from another retailer that confirmed the digital copy was included. I didn't want to risk opening the movie only to find out there was no digital copy and then not be able to return it. Not a knock against the movie though, which is entirely worth buying!
