Excellent phone for seniors!
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I got a phone plan through Great Call for my very elderly sister who wanted to get rid of her landline. She accidently dropped the original phone in water so I purchased a new phone. It's a great phone, easy to use and she loves it. It was simple to reactivate the new phone.

Not a great choice for seniors
||Posted . Owned for 7 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This was billed as a great phone for seniors and I was so excited to purchase it to help my mother-in-law. Unfortunately, we found that it lacks many features that would make it senior-friendly. The button for the ringer volume is on the side where your fingers hold the phone, so the person using it will easily lower the volume often without realizing she did. Sadly, she does this often. The phone was billed as "flip to answer," but did not work that way in reality and required her to hit "OK" each time she answered the phone (in addition to flipping it open). It took 6 months, hours of calls with the service desk and and multiple pushes of software for it to finally work that way.

Updated Jitterbug no good
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought this as a replacement phone for my 101 year old father in Law who dropped his original Jitterbug in the toilet. The updated model has smaller numbers and smaller screen graphics and is utterly worthless for the Jitterbug target demographic . Shame on you Lively - take heed; if it ain’t broke, don’t fix it… Thankfully EBay had a used original Jitterbug that worked great.

Easy to Use Senior Contact Phone
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Bought this for my MIL as she is 86 in good health, but wanted the ability to have a fast and easy contact method for an emergency. This worked out great for her as it is easy to use, has functions that can enhance her well being, and is not costly as a service. Would recommend to any senior in need of a good mobile and emergency contact device

Decent emergency phone for seniors
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is a decent no-frills emergency cell phone for seniors, but the GUI is terrible and there are too many steps to do simple tasks like clearing a missed call or opening the cameras. The large buttons are helpful, but a cheap Android or older iPhone would be easier for an elder to use daily.

Great phone for loved ones with dementia
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought this phone for my 94 year old mother who has dementia. She always has used a flip phone, so I was happy to find this phone since she no longer can learn new things. It was super easy to set up and she quickly adapted to using it to make and receive phone calls. Monthly fee is very reasonable. I have nothing negative to say about this phone.

Bring back the old Jitterbug!
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This Jitterbug is not designed with seniors in mind. I would argue it is at least as difficult to navigate as a smart phone. Trying to maneuver through the menus is tedious for my mom. She is constantly hitting the side buttons that pit her phone in silent mode. She is in a nursing home and this is the only method for her to call. She had no problems with the previous iteration of the Jitterbug.

Okay device, with complications
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. In some respects the phone is easy for a senior citizen to use (it has a good feel and the buttons are large), but there’s a couple challenges: for speed dial, #1 isn’t available ever, which is confusing; and while you can use voice commands to place calls, it’s a multi-step command process, which is too confusing for many users.

||Posted . Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Phone was a gift for my parents to replace an older phone that was no longer going to work as of the New Year. So far they seem to like all the newer features and how easy it is to use, with bigger buttons and settings to make the text size bigger and the volume louder is extremely helpful.

I had been looking for a more friendly cell phone for months and finally found this phone which meets all my needs. Adequate but over priced.
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This was a replacement for a device I already had but lost. I think it is overpriced but adequate. I have a computer and also access to computers at work. So, I wanted a flip phone. It works ok for the most part. Sometimes it will want me to adjust the volume whether I asked to or not. I find that puzzling.
