This phone was exactly what I was looking for to replace an old flip phone not supported by 3G any longer. I did not want or need a smartphone with bells and whistles. This phone will be used mostly as a backup or emergency phone when out on the highway.

1i purchased this for my 88 year old mother. It is the only phone out of about 7 she has had thayt she understands. She has dementia and ots is easier for her to remember how to use it. She absolutely loves it and tells everyone she got a beautiful red phone.

This phone works well with excellent audio. However, there are too many steps to select a contact. That is why I gave it only 4 stars. I do like the charging stand which is very convenient to use.

Phone is simple to use which is great for seniors, however also frustrating since menu options are very limited. We had problems getting rich texts to work on the phone, even after hours spent talking to Lively tech support.

Simple and easy to use cell phone for my 80yr old mother

I wish the ring tone was louder and that there were better ring tone options that are more ear piercing since this is for experienced individuals that may have hearing issues. Checkout out first or you might be disappointed. Should have better ring tone options that grab your attention. Hopefully it is just an issue with the phone that I received. Very good customer service.

Easy to use for my elderly mother. Display is large enough for her to see.

I purchased the Lively Flip Cell Phone for Seniors as a present for my husband, who has both visual and hearing limitations. He set the volume up to loud, but it only worked when using the speaker phone, When speaking directly into the phone, he could hear the other person clearly only for a short time, but the volume decreased until it was too low for him to hear. Additionally, he found the device much too complicated -- You have to touch several separate buttons before doing a simple thing like answering a phone call! In our estimation, this is not a good device, especially for seniors. Unfortunately, it is too late to return this item, so we advise others to send it back it within the given time if you have the same experience.

Bought this for an elderly neighbor. It has really brightened her attitude after a hip replacement. She can call family and friends. It has given her some mental independence. Went with the $20 a month unlimited talk and text, but she doesn't text.

Easy to use. Bought this same phone as she is 96 years old and finds this so easy to operate. Didn't need any of those extra features. She doesn't know how to text or any other technical features which smart phones have. She loves the bright red color.

For a phone for the older generation it is still complicated. We are unable to check Moms minutes, so I need to keep calling them. My Best Buy sales man gave me a ton of mis-information on the plan I got for her.

This is only Cell Phone I’ve found that my extremely hard-of-hearing Husband can use. There is a Ringtone he actually hears, along with understanding the Caller. It has large Buttons which also help his arthritic Fingers.

Not worth it. Phone drops calls continuously. Elderly parents had to walk to the window just make the phone work. Don’t bother buying this one

Bought this red jitterbug phone for my mom, she loves the color.

Purchased for my elderly Mom and it was easy for her to learn and operate!!!! Sorry for the late review she is still using it till day !!!! If your parent can’t understand todays new cell technology get this cell you won’t regret it !!!!

easy for seniors , simple, not complex. flip phones are back!

Enjoying the phone. Easy to use, fits well in a pocket, Best Buy assistance was perfect and made sure we were all set up. Father got the flip phone over smart phone, but very impressed w smart phone usability.

I bought this item for my elderly Dad because he needed something simple. He has had trouble with it which has left him without a cell until I could get to him. Its been a disappointment.

My 80 year old mom was totally intimidated by her smartphone and wanted to go back to a flip phone. This is fairly easy for her to use, although it was a pain to enter her contacts for her!

This was for my mother in law. She is 93 and she went back to a flip phone. This one has buttons that she can see and use. She didn't want a camera or video but this one has a camera and we might show her how it works. It is great and the monthly fee is reasonable.
