I caught a great deal on this flip phone for my mom. She didn't need a smartphone and had difficulty trying to swipe to answer a call. The best part, there is an urgent care button in case of a fall, etc.

There some kind of static often when you are talking. It rings when you open it. This phone is a piece of junk.

Great phone for my senior needs: Camera/video, alert button, and 300 minutes--letters and numbers are visible for "me ancient orbs."

Great phone! Bought this for my 93 year old Mother in law and she loves it! She is hard of hearing but this phone has several ring tones that work well for her as well as the volume settings!

I bought this phone for my elderly father because his mobile carrier will no longer support 3G at the end of this year. The free replacement phone for his old LG Exalt sent by his mobile provider was defective, so I had to return it. I thought the jitterbug might be a good option for my father, but soon discovered I was wrong. I don't find this phone to be senior friendly at all. It's more complicated to set up than other flip phones. Even when text is enlarged & volume is maximized, it isn't easy to read or hear. My father is hearing impaired. The main reason I bought this phone was because it supported speed dialing & the ability to add contacts at their website. I wasn't able to add contacts until 24 hours after I created an account for him. Tech support had no idea why. There is also a limit of the numbers 2 - 9 for speed dials & they have to be set up on the phone. His first bill was more than I had anticipated after taxes & fees. I will probably cancel urgent response because it isn't a substitute for calling 911. I haven't used a flip phone in years, so I'm not aware how they've changed. This doesn't come close to his old phone.

My husband loves his Jitterbug phone. He has a heart condition so the extra protection he gets with the help button is tremendous.,

This was the poorest choice ever the phone never migrated to the correct phone number and never make calls or receive calls it was a horrible choice I would not recommend this for anyone especially if their carrier is Verizon.

I am disappointed that there is no way to delete text messages without “reading them “. I am not interested in paying for texts when all I wanted was a phone.

I think this is a great phone if you live in an area where it works. I purchased this for my brother, it didn't work well in his area.

I would give this zero points if I could. Absolutely terrible design. Was purchased for an elderly family member with poor eyesight. It is much too complicated for her to use. Contrary to the advertising, this model has too many steps for an elderly person with mild cognitive decline and poor eyesight.

After reading the inst. manual, we are getting the hang of it. Has a catchy ring tone too!!!!!

We had a wonderful experience with Mstt and Leslie when purchasing a new phone. And getting our old phone number back! Matt and Leslie represent Best Buy very well! They are very efficient snd knowledgeable!

Even the minute changes in this phone snd the last are VERY confusing for the senior user. Reception remains poor. This is about our 4 th purchase of this phone replacing broken ones. If your senior can manage any other type of phone then I suggest you avoid these.

I bought this phone for my stepfather and it works well and the portability is a plus when he doesn't want to carry around a smartphone in the store

Worst phone, worst service ever. Simply cannot recommend this product.

Not what I was lsd to believe. Told that International calling was 1 cent per minute when actual charge is one dollar per minute. Immediately cancelled service.

Lots of questions are asked after you thought you already told the phone what you wanted it to do. The questions confuse the user at times.

Most unintuative phone i have ever used. My father just could not figure it out.

I bought this for my vision impaired 96 year old mom as a replacement for her broken Cricket. Total was. This phone does not have speed dialing. Who else would want this phone except someone visually impaired. You now have to go through 2 clicks to get to the names.
