    Have not use it very long, but it is very easy for the elderly to use. Lively who activated the phone customer service are the best.

    Large screen and large buttons. For sight impaired, better than a smart phone. Inexpensive for the phone and for the associated cell service. Best Buy was very helpful.

    This is advertised as a phone for seniors, but I found it very annoying to have to push the Ok button so often. It has great sound and it is what I wanted so I could carry in my pocket.

    DON'T WASTE YOUR TIME/COMICAL

    HUGE WASTE OF TIME; JUST KEEP SHOPPING. It took me almost 4 full days over a 2 week period to manually configure this phone for my elderly dad.. and it HAS TO BE MANUALLY CONFIGURED BY YOU. The other days were needed to calm myself down before calls to LIVELY tech support. Surely I must be missing something; I wasn't missing anything. The configuration is a black hole nightmare. Comical problems, too many to mention ; and I'm an IT guy in my 50s. For example, to get Alexa, the voice assistant working, 9 steps were required; between needed steps BURIED on Amazon's website which the phone has to be paired with, to "LIVELY" skills apps needing to be enabled and configured that are not on the phone. The "LIVELY" tech support had long wait times, and really had no working knowledge of the phone. They told me to Google my questions twice. Easy to use voice commands are key to the elderly in my experience. Even after everything was "setup", to use Alexa he has to say "Alexa, ask "LIVELY" to call... an extra step not needed with any other phone I've ever heard of. And even if you make it that far with your sanity, from a hardware standpoint the phone is a complete piece of you know what (starts with an "S" and rhymes with HIT). Half the time it just doesn't work, or freezes.

    Great phone for us elderly that don't need to play. easy to use and easy to carry. Flip phone is easy as when you get a call you just flip it open to talk and flip it closed to hang up.

    for the most part this is the phone my husband has been needing. It has taken repeated calls to LIVELY to make the transition, but hopefully they will transfer his phone number. I am hoping that we don't regret leaving Verizon. Things should not be that complicated for senior citizens.

    I am writing to express my extreme dissatisfaction and outrage regarding the billing practices of Lively (formerly GreatCall). Three years ago, I purchased a Jitterbug phone for my mother, who, due to significant health issues, was residing in a rehabilitation facility. The purpose of this phone was to provide her with a simple means of communication. Unfortunately, due to her health condition, she was unable to use the phone. I called and believed that the phone had been canceled. Despite this, I recently received a bill from Lively demanding payment, after two years of nonservice, during which the phone was not used. They continued to charge her, until I made changes to her bank account. Then they sent me a bill demanding payment. I contacted your customer service department to explain the situation and rectify what is clearly a gross error. I was appalled to be told that it is not Lively's "job to police accounts." This response is unacceptable. It demonstrates a complete disregard for your customers, particularly vulnerable elderly individuals who rely on your services. I find it deeply disturbing that your company would continue to bill a customer for two years without any usage, effectively exploiting their circumstances. It is particularly egregious that you are willing to actively monitor accounts for overages, presumably to maximize profit, but refuse to acknowledge or address accounts with zero usage. How many other elderly customers have been similarly victimized? How many have had their limited income unjustly taken by your company? the following: * Immediate cancellation of any outstanding charges * A full refund of all payments made over the past two years. * A formal apology for the distress and financial burden caused by your company's negligence. * A review of your billing practices to prevent similar situations from occurring in the future. I am disgusted by Lively's lack of empathy and predatory behavior towards vulnerable customers. I expect a prompt and satisfactory resolution to this matter. Failure to address this issue will result in further action, including filing complaints with consumer protection agencies and sharing my experience with relevant media outlets.

    We bought this phone for our parents who had to replace their Kyocera flip phone because of the change from 3G to 5G service. It's an awful phone to use and not intuitive. There other phone had buttons that were clearly marked and you didn't have to press 6 different buttons to get to a feature. In addition the plan price is not the price you end up paying. There were probably another $10 in "service fees" added to the bill. On top of that there was no way to access voicemail from another phone which I've always been able to do with every other phone carrier. I was given 3 different numbers and none of them worked. It kept saying the phone number was invalid. It's needed as my parents never figured out how to access voicemail. On top of that the phone died after having it less than a year. Run away from this phone and Lively phone service. There are less expensive services you can use. We ended up canceling the service and used NumberBarn to port the number so that it was forwarded to us for the few people who still used that number to contact our parents. It's a shame that there aren't easy to use, basic flip phones around anymore.

    I finally found a cellphone that fits my large hands, found it easy to use and see and press the buttons without misdialing. I love mine and my wife lovers hers.

    Excessive scam calls, scammers change their number

    It makes and receives phone calls. My Mom has 15 to 30 calls a day from a scam medicare service. National Do not cal registry is useless. Blocking number is useless, because they change number they are calling from as soon as number is blocked. She doesn't want to change number.Excessive scam calls, scammers change their number so blocking is useless.
