Using this cell phone is too difficult for the AVERAGE senior citizen. Many of the basic functions are not easily accessible, e.g., you have to figure out how to start and how to end a call. And, more importantly, you can't access your provider's customer service, if you're not a Lively customer. To be clear, I have T-Mobile, and when I dial 611, I get the Lively customer service agent, who tells me I have to dial T-Mobile's 800 number in order to reach it's customer service department. There are a lot of features on the phone, i.e., text, radio, flashlight, camera, etc., but what good are these features if you can't figure out how to access them. They're all hidden under bizarre menus, which are too complicated for my senior to use. In short, this phone is not so senior friendly. I can't recommend it.

This phone was a quick and easily usable solution for our 84 year old cousin when he lost his smart phone. He may not even try to replace the old phone!

Phone worked only for a couple of hours. Then received the message "Call Not Sent." Only fix is to turn off and back on. Called Lively and they said phone was not properly activated, so went through the activation process again. Did not fix issue. Eventually they sent out a new phone. Same issue! Called Lively and said this is a known problem with Verizon and the Flip 2 with no idea when it will be fixed. Unfortunately, people cannot call me either when this issue occurs. So, this problematic will be returned. Do NOT buy as this issue may occur with your phone as well.

Purchased a Jitterbug phone for my 90 year old sad two years ago. Buttons wore out. Purchased a new Jitterbug phone but speed dial causes a issue. Apparently there is a bug in the software. When using speed dial, it works then just doesn’t causing you not to be able to call or receive calls. Returned the new phone and exchanged but second phone has same issue. My dad, now 92 needs speed dial. Had to return and purchase a different phone and different plan. Disappointed as Jitterbug was wasy for dad to use.

Excellent for the elderly. Got one for my 97 year old Granddad when his 30 year old flip phone died. Very user friendly.

The phone is easy to use and great. However, my father in law refuses to use it. He still has the phone, but I had to discontinue the service.

Picked this up for my grandmother. She is very pleased with it. The lovely customer service has been very helpful in assisting with getting her old number ported over.

This was the perfect watch for my 85 year old mother. It was easy to teach he the functions. The numbers are big on phone. Great service.

Love the color and it works just fine with a easy to use menu.

Compact and easy to get used to using. User manual well written and easy to understand. Fits in hand comfortably. Size of letter/number buttons is similar to a computer keyboard which is a significant bonus. My phone is colored red which makes it easy to find wherever and whenever I want to use it. Sturdy feel. Not a "toy."

I ordered this phone for my 89 year old Mom & this is her 3rd Jitterbug in about 4 years. The sound quality is better than her previous 2 Flips & it is simple to use, but I am wondering why she has to get a new phone so often. The speaker sound quality was not good on her first 2 phones & there were a few other issues so she kept on trying a new one. It is a simple, easy to use phone & this one appears to be better sound quality. Lively customer service is excellent & since this phone is better overall I gave it 4 stars.

Perfect, great deal. Simple for the mentally challenged person to use.

While there are large buttons for dialing out, we were unable to increase the font to see the incoming phone numbers.

This item has helped my 85 year old brother come to using technology of today. He was living with not accepting change and just the simple usage of the Jitterbug he has come around. Thank you

the Jitterbug Flip2 cell phone for seniors is a great phone. Offers different monthly plans to utilize. The phones features help the elderly navigate easily and maintain a little independence.

This is a great phone for my 97 year old father in law. Easy to use and loud enough volume for him to hear it ring.

It is working pretty good for an elderly family member who doesn't text but who likes the large numbers and that it is like a past flip phone they use to use.
