Be wary of..... Volume doesn't go up high enough for my elderly, hard of hearing, parents if the television is on or people talking. So far, I cannot find a way to block unwanted spam texts. Had trouble and trouble with some features and had to reset the phone and start all over. Would not save the voice-mail message after many, many tries. Good..... it's easy to use and catch on.

I purchased this phone from the Gaithersburg Best Buy. It was on sale. The phone was an upgrade from the Jitterbug2 phone. I love the new graphics and screen, THe battery lasts all day on an overnight charge. The camera is sharp and focused. I recommend this phone highly since it also has medical services on it.

I was very pleased we were able to purchase the Jitterbug Smartphone for a much reduced cost. This phone will be used by my wife and appears to meet her needs for a not so complicated device. The sales rep - Joe - was very personable, knowledgeable, and helpful during the sale process. I am a TotalTech member and recommend this to other individuals.

Got this for 92yr old mom. Currently using a flip phone buying minutes 1/year. Never really understood how to get voicemail. Thought this would be easier. It does provide for very simple layout but she just doesn't take changes well. At 92 you can't blame her what she has works for basic needs and it's cheaper than a smartphone plan.

What I like about this phone for seniors: 1) the home page is very easy; no icons and it walks you through each step. 2) their customer service in my opinion is excellent. Live people; I have not had to wait long and they don't mind answering simple questions. Down side the battery is slow.

The new Jitterbug 3 Smart Phone is really great! It is user friendly and does everything that I need it to do! Plus, the battery doesn't run down nearly as fast as the one in my previous Jitterbug Smart Phone (which was a Jitterbug 3). \

I love my new Smart3 phone. It can do more than I expected, and it is so much better than the old flip phone. And the price was right, much more affordable than the others. It was easier to learn how to use it than I expected. Plus, customer service at Lively is fantastic.

Much better than the Smart2. Responds quicker and holds a charge much much longer. The slightly increase in size make the phone fit better in my phone holder.

Even though it's made for seniors, my 81yo uncle had a hard time understanding to swipe up and down to get to different programs on the phone. Everything is a nice, decent size but it was kind of hard for him to use a touchscreen.

We purchased this phone for or grandaughter for her BD. She has a disability and lives in another state. She came to visit us and she liked it a lot. Taught her how to use it. Hope it works out for her. It is easier to operate for her than her last phone. We are pleased with it.

Got this for my grandmother and am very impressed with it. You can use either the Jitterbug Experience as shown in the images or you can use the default Android experience. The Jitterbug Experience really does make using a cellphone simple for seniors and the on-call nurse gives me piece of mind. There’s even a number she can call if she’s simply feeling depressed and could use someone to talk to (if I’m at work and can’t answer my phone).

I've been wanting to try this service and phone, and I'm glad I did. I was worried that the larger size would be a problem, but it is narrow enough for me to have a good grip, and it doesn't weigh much. The larger screen and font size keep my eyes from getting tired. The phone, texting, internet, and settings are easy to use, but I can still do everything that I need to do on it. The store salesman was very knowledgable, and Lively Help has been very responsive. Just tap the Lively icon and make the call. They respectfully help you solve your problem. While I don't need the health support at this time, I feel confident that Lively will meet my needs in the future.

My wife and I bought this phone for her 90+ year old father. He is still active and we needed to get him a phone that would allow for apps such as Waze to be added. If you have ever watched the TV ad for this phone it makes it seem like the perfect cell phone solution for an older person. Unfortunately this phone and the service leaves a lot to be desired. The phone itself is not very large. My wife and I have Iphon 12's and that would be a better size phone. This phone is closer to an Iphone 7 in size. The display at the Best Buy store was damaged so we did not get to actually see the phone before purchasing it. My mistake. The phone is too small. There is really no way to make the words on the phone larger than any other cell phone either so that is a questionable claim made by Lively. The upper volume is not nearly as loud as my Iphone at its highest setting. For a phone advertised for old people that is poor. You have to pay extra for the emergency button service. The Lively ad makes it seem like that is included. It is not and costs an additional $10 per month. Setting the phone up was a pain in the butt but maybe that is because I don't have an Android phone. Another gripe I have with this phone was the phone number Lively tried to assign to it. We wanted an 864 area code (South Carolina). We bought the phone from a Best Buy in the 864 area code. When we called Lively to set the phone up and activate it they gave us a 909 area code (Southern California). Not even close to South Carolina unless you think 2400 miles is close. It took my wife over two hours working with various Lively employees to get the phone number changed. Even the Lively Supervisor couldn't figure it out at first but finally did. The only positive is that this phone cose much less than an Iphone. Bottom line, I would not buy this phone again. A good Iphone would have allowed for a bigger screen, larger fonts, louder volume and a better experience. This phone and the Lively service leave a lot to be desired.

This smart phone was to be the upgrade from my flip phone. I guess it's wonderful, if I could use it. The set up asked me questions I could not answer, and after several hours of trying to tap tiny letters & numbers to enter my email address & password, I finally called for help. After being told by the support team at Lively that I needed to practice or contact the GEEK squad to use this fine phone. I decided that I did not need a new phone and contacted Lively to switch my account back to my Jitterbug2, which they did in a very friendly and understanding manner, Thank You LIVELY. Then when I started to arrange a return with BEST BUY, I discovered that the restocking fee was almost 50% of the purchase price. Now I can tell everyone I have a SMARTphone, it's in a box in the desk. I must add that everyone I contacted at BEST BUY & LIVELY during this two day adventure were very nice.

My Mom is a spry 97yrs old. I purchased this phone for her. Its screen size and user friendliness has made The Jitterbug Ma's favorite gift in years. She gets the freedom and mobility provided by a cellular device, while I get added security for Ma, provided by both the phone, as well as the wearable medical alert device ($50 value) that came free with my purchase. Add to that the discounted price of the phone, and this purchase was a no-brainer. The only reason I didn't rate the purchase with 5 stars is because no BB extended warranty was offered on my items.
