Good movie in the theater and even better at home.

Movie itself was alright, story line was a bit hard to follow at first but made sense about half way through. I was warned by friends that it wasnt worth watching, but I'm always one to judge myself. Compared to the other xmen movies or even the wolverine centered movies this was a bit out there. I think the hardest part was the massive gap in time(and loss of events) that led up to the begining of the movie.

Best X-Men movie I've ever seen. You know you see these actors Hugh Jackman and Patrick Stewart in X-Men movies and they're all action. You have a tendency to forget how good of an actor's these guys really are they connect! The performances by both men were absolutely stellar. I knew Patrick Stewart today he comes from the theater but you Jackman that guy really has acting chops! Then there's this little girl Daphne Keen 11 years old or so what a promising acting career lies before her! Daphne's performance as Little Wolverine was absolutely spectacular she is so good at such a young age it really catches you off guard! Do I recommend the movie how can I not it has everything! Not just the summer blockbuster this movie for X-Men fans and everyone is a must see movie!

Logan, based of the graphic novel "Old Man Logan" is one of the shining examples of a film outpacing it's source material. Many of the characters present in the original graphic novel were not available to Fox, and I think that worked out for the better. What we end up with, is ultimately an emotional tale about the difference between being alive and actually living. The film features another excellent turn by Patrick Stewart as Professor X, and Steve merchant as "Caliban". Along with the titular character "Logan", the three rediscover that living life is more than simply surviving another day. And we also get some excellent Wolverine slice and dice action along the way. One of the best X-Men films and far and a way the best film in the Logan trilogy.

This is the best X-men movie ever, and no matter how you purchase it, you NEED to watch it. Everything is perfect, it manages to strike a balance between heart and violence, being accurate to the comics but still entertaining and having it's own twists, its just perfect. The steelbook is just meh in my opinion. Comes with the bluray, dvd, and a Noir version of the movie which is black and white, along with a digital code. No real idea why they feel the need to include four different ways in which to watch the movie, seems unnecessary to me, but that's another argument. Steelbook design isn't all that impressive in my opinion, I would've preferred something more simple and realistic, but ya can't be too picky. It does look nice, just hoped for better.

Of all the movies I saw last year, this was my favorite and in my opinion, on top of the all time Marvel list. It was the Rogue One of Marvel. A separate story and movie that needed to be told. Enjoyed separately, it was just fantastic on every level. Acting, directing, writing, everything. And the 3 stars of this movie absolutely deserve the highest accolades. I've also seen the Noir version which makes it EVEN BETTER if you can believe it!! You notice things you might have missed in the color version. There's no way this isn't a top shelf overall movie. Even if you aren't a comic movie lover. Especially if you aren't. Just buy it and see for yourself. Seriously, stop reading and BUY IT! You're still here? The review is over. Go home.

Logan gives a dramatic turn on the traditional super-hero movie. Hugh Jackman gives one of his best performances ever. I admit that I had to watch some supplemental videos to answer some questions, but that didn't detract from my enjoyment of the movie at all. A couple of times I thought there were plot problems, there were explanations as to how they tie in to the rest of the X-Men franchise. Even if you are not a super-hero fan or an X-Men fan you should give this film a chance. Important note, the Logan Noir version of the film that is included in this set is actually worth the purchase. I probably won't watch the color version again because the black and white version adds surprising depth to the film. It's definitely worth the purchase.

Full disclosure, I usually like super hero movies. That doesn't mean I give a blanket pass to all of them but I am fairly lenient. However, this movie, as you've probably seen in other reviews, is less a super hero movie than just a straight up action drama. It was a great story that happened to include characters that previously were in super hero flicks. I absolutely loved this movie and it brought tears to my eyes. It is not for the kids in my opinion because it is R rated for a reason. There is significant violence and one topless moment, but at least the violence did not seem gratuitous to me. It was part of the story. The flash however was unnecessary and my only complaint it you could call it that. Again, I thought this movie fantastic.

First, about the steelbook, I will say it looks much better in person, but the artwork can be a turn off for some. Overall I think it is a nicely done version. This comes with 4 discs, 2 4k versions (black & white, color) 2 bluray versions (black & white, color) so overall it is a heavier weight compared to other cases. The movie, we finally get the Logan we all want, he has been the best part of the Xmen movies the past 17 years, but I still feel as good as this movie was, it was little too late because Hugh is putting up the claws. So It's a bittersweet moment, X-23 is played by a intense young girl, who fills the role perfectly. A ending that may shed a tear, left me a little unsatisfied. It is still one of the best "Xmen" movies to date.

First of all, I love this film. I was going to buy this disc no matter what, but I was not prepared for how incredible this was going to look and sound on 4K UHD. The film was finished in 4K, so the transfer is completely native, and it shows. The detail is amazing, the depth of shadow and texture is a revelation, and the colors (used sparingly) absolutely pop. But speaking of colors - the LOGAN NOIR (B&W version) also included is a completely different viewing experience. I actually prefer this version - it's moodier and expresses the stark film tones in a more dramatic fashion that really works. Without a doubt this is my new favorite disc in my extensive collection, and one that I will use to show off my 4K display on a regular basis.

In the near future, a weary Logan (Hugh Jackman) cares for an ailing Professor X (Patrick Stewart) at a remote outpost on the Mexican border. His plan to hide from the outside world gets upended when he meets a young mutant (Dafne Keen) who is very much like him. Logan must now protect the girl and battle the dark forces that want to capture her. Hugh Jackman makes the most of his final outing as Wolverine with a gritty, nuanced performance in a violent but surprisingly thoughtful superhero action film that defies genre conventions.

The best one out of the wolverine trilogy, great buy for the price. Definitely would recommend to movie collectors.

I showed up at Best Buy a half hour before the store opened just to get the steelbook version of this bluray. When 8 other guys and I went in, we were informed they didn't have any despite the tag being on the display. I was told employees cleaned them out before they opened. Irate doesn't come close. That doesn't change the fact that this is the best movie I saw last year. Huge X-Men/Wolverine fan and this was a fantastic way for Hugh Jackman to put him up on the shelf. If he and Patrick Stewart and Dafne Keen aren't nominated for something huge, it will be a huge disappointment. They all nailed their performances. If you're even a moderate fan of these characters, don't miss this one! You won't regret it.

This is one of the best movies in the series. Best Buy had a great price on it and I bought the 4k version. No Regrets

While again not your average superhero movie this has some nice violent content to it but also a decent story.

One of the best superhero films ever made. The best films in not only the X-Men film franchise but also the Marvel Comics Studios as well. I would also consider this movie as also one of the top ten best films of this century as well it is that good. Even if you are not the biggest comic book movie fan you will enjoy it because it has a great sci-fi feel to it as well and the visual effects , acting and story line are plausible and you don't really have to own the rest of the franchise movies to enjoy Logan..!

Logan isn't like most comic book films and that's a very good thing. Sure it's extremely violent in some of its action scenes which will be off-putting for some, but it tells a different type f story than the genre usually sees on film. It's fascinating seeing him not as the all-powerful Wolverine, but as an old man just struggling to get by after some big events have changed the worlds for mutants and dealing with Xavier's deteriorating and dangerous condition. If you have any interest in comic book movies, this is a must-see. Even if you don't usually care for the genre, it's worth a look. This is one of the best comic book films of the decade and a solid film in general.
