X-cells to hero movie
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review."Logan" is perhaps the best of all the X-Men themed movies, a gritty apocalyptic saga of Wolverine, the most tormented of all the mutants, and his equally suffering mentor, Charles Xavier. The movie has the downbeat flair of an old Western flick, and Hugh Jackman plays the protagonist as a reluctant gunslinger who has no choice but to defend the people around him. Besides A Xavier rapidly sinking into dementia, that includes fellow mutant Caliban, Logan's young clone, X23, and various innocent bystanders. The movie has plenty of action, shocking deaths, one or two bittersweet segments, and an overall atmosphere of tragedy on a superhuman scale. This DVD, BluRay, digital video set also includes a classy black and white version which, if anything, accentuates the somber tone of the film. Definitely 4 stars.
