While the Fox X-Men movies have varied wildly in quality in the past, lately the studio has been doing excellent work with the license, with Deadpool and now Logan as nontraditional standouts. Logan is the movie where Hugh Jackman finally reaches his true potential as Wolverine, in his final outing. His performance is emotionally affecting and establishes a strong connection with the audience. Dafne Keen is fantastic as Laura/X-23 and I hope Fox lets her grow into the role. Finally, I'm going to miss Patrick Stewart, because as well as James McAvoy has done with the role, Stewart is THE quintessential Charles Xavier. Logan is beautifully directed, with wonderful cinematography - the movie is a clear #1 among X-Men films for me, with Deadpool, First Class, Days of Future Past, and The Wolverine rounding out the list.

Lots of action lots of thriller great kids movie to see Yup

The first time I saw this, it was on a regular blu-ray disc and I didn't care for it. I thought it was too violent and I didn't go for the way they depicted Prof X (really old and deranged). Then I read some reviews that were very good and found out that this was one of the few 4k movies that was actually mastered in native 4k. It was on sale for black friday and so I took a chance and wow what a difference. The movie is indeed intense and upon viewing it again it not only looked fantastic in 4k, I actually followed the story and thought the movie was successful in finalizing the roles of Logan and Prof. X. If you are an X-men fan and want something that is very intense, then you will will probably like this movie. They also introduce a young girl with super powers who kicks a lot of butt as a bonus.

I enjoyed this movie very much. I’m a sucker for steelbooks
