So, I've been an avid comic book reader, and have followed the MCU since the initial Iron Man launched phase 1. However, Fox and Sony have both been very disappointing as far as keeping true to the books. Deadpool, and Logan both stay true to the books, and remained a great movie even if you've never touched a comic in your life. The only bad thing about this movie is that it was so good, Fox will definitely be reluctant to give up the license to use X-men and Mutants in the MCU.

Logan represents the end of Hugh Jackman's journey as Wolverine. Over the last 15 years, Jackman has made Logan his own. And in this movie we get to see aspects of Logan that were hinted at in previous films. We also get to see one last, classic, berserker rage on the part of Logan. As for the ending, I can only speak for myself when I say I she'd a tear or two. Unusual for an R-rated superhero film. If you've been a fan of Hugh Jackman's Wolverine, I highly recommend this film.

I got this movie for a very good deal on Black Friday! This is my personal favorite X-Men movie out there, I love the Western feel to it. The soundtrack is very good, it stays with you. I'm a fan of the Noir version, it's fun to watch something different and it goes well with the tone of the film. The picture quality is perfect, as well as the audio. The making of Logan was a very good extra, as well. Must watch for any comic book movie fan!

Picture and sound quality are great. Acting is excellent throughout. This is a sad movie but is quite good. This movie is essentially a western with sci-fi elements. ---- there's no living with... with a killing. There's no going back from one. Right or wrong, it's a brand. A brand sticks. There's no going back. Now you run on home to your mother, and tell her... tell her everything's all right. And there aren't any more guns in the valley.

I love superhero movies having been a comic book geek for the last 52 years. I saw this movie in the theatre and loved it as a great movie, not just as a superhero movie. I was therefore able to recommended it to people as a great movie who would never be interested in a superhero movie. It's more like an old western and asr an extra bonus, they included the black & white Noir Version that really makes it feel like an old movie and it really works that way as well.

I won't talk too much about the movie itself because it is so hard to do without giving things away, but the basic storyline which the trailers describe is handled perfectly by everyone in the movie. The movie itself is a must see for any X-men fan, just as this collector steelbook is a must have. The case itelf is as good as any steelbook adorned with great artwork which provides a secure home for the four discs within, one of which is a black and white version of the film.

Spoiler Alert: Don't read any further until you have seen the movie. I found this to be one of the most dramatic of all the X-Men movies I have seen to date. I found it well acted out, considering where it was going with the plot line. If you don't like the slice and dice'em movies, this is not one for you! The finale was particularly poignant; especially the little girls final action in the film. I would recommend this to all X-Men fans; just be ready for a few shocks.;

Dark gritty end to the wolverine franchise, great!

James Mangold's "Logan" bears the distinction of being perhaps the greatest comic book adaptation ever. A critical and commercial success, it actually hit theaters twice, the second time being "Logan Noir," the black-and-white version of the film. Watching this cut is an experience that stands on its own two feet and is included here, but not in the DVD edition. Plus it's Hugh Jackman's swan song as Wolverine, so this makes it an essential purchase for any Marvel fan.

Logan was as good on the small screen as it was on the big screen. Don't get me wrong, if you missed it on the big screen, you DID miss out... but I would recommend this movie to pretty much everyone! It departs from the normal, save the world from aliens or really bad mutants, but that is a good thing! It is a great story, good action, wonderful movie!!! It will make you smile, make you laugh, and probably make you cry, and I hope you love it as much as my family does!

I took my daughters to see this in theaters and it was fantastic. It wasn't the typical comic book movie at all. There's a lot of drama, some humorous parts, and a lot of heart. It's deservedly rated R but in the best way. You will cry at the end. The saddest part is you won't see Jackman as Wolverine ever again and Hollywood will recast it far too soon, because let's face it they will redo Wolverine's character at some point even though they shouldn't. Just like the Joker.

The Wolverine spinoff of the X-Men series has been nearly as brilliant as Nolan's Dark Knight trilogy. Logan is easily the best of the three. This is how you imagined Wolverine would be in real life if lifted straight from the comics, unsanitized. Brutal, heart wrenching, hopeful, tear jerking and thought provoking, this goes far beyond the modern action packed comic movie. It was so well written and directed. If you are a Wolverine fan, this is a must have.

The movie is good. If you enjoyed the "Wolverine" story up until now, you will probably enjoy Hugh Jackman's last foray into the role (or so he says). It's hard to tell if the story is cannon or just an alternate reality, but the story is gripping and it's nice to see Jackman and Stewart back in the roles. Technically, the blu-ray looks and sounds sharp. The blu-ray is coming from a 4K transfer, so details are crisp in 1080p. The DTS 7.1 master audio sounds great.

This was possibly my most favorite role the Jackman had ever played as wolverine. Superb story writing, there was more character development and had you feeling more for the mutant world than before as the times had changed even after the events of days of future past. It has me curious and wondering what else X men has in store with the Jackman hanging up the claws and new Xmen coming at as in the near future. DC, you better step it up

This movie is a great way to end the character of Logan/Wolverine for actor Hugh Jackman ! He really goes out on top! As for the blu-ray itself, detail is great and the HDR coloring is pretty good especially in outdoor scenes with the sun beaming. Really takes advantage of HDR. There is apparently another version of this that includes a black & white version of the film, but that didn't come in my set... Oh well great movie anyways!

When Marvel announced that they would make my boyhood favorite X-Men into real action movies, I was so excited for Wolverine as he was my favorite. I never felt they got the portrayal right and was disappointed in every portrayal of Wolverine since the first X-Men...until NOW. Great movie and awesome portrayal of Wolverine, just a little too old for my liking, but given the "timeline" change, it was necessary. Definitely, recommend for any true Wolverine fan.

This is the best of the Marvel mutant films made, a vast improvement on Wolverine Origin and The Wolverine films. Hugh Jackman give a grand performance on his final outing as possibly the most recognizable X-men character. Definitely not for children and not the typical super-hero film, much more violent and adult, but an exceptional story. No, it doesn't follow to the 'T' the graphic novel it is based on, but comes close and does capture the essence of it.

As a comic fan I was always disappointed with the neutered versions of Wolverine in the different movies, among other complaints like the intro of Deadpool. This story takes place in a distopian future with plenty of blood and violence you'd expect from a movie about a guy who has metal claws in his hands. And the little girl Laura is AMAZING! She has amazing screen presence and athleticism... I'll be lining up along with my daughter to see more of her.

This is a must have to any steel book collection. I didn't even want to open this edition. On to the movie, it is the best X-men movie to date in my opinion. I wish they started all the series rated R but I understand why they didn't. If it weren't for Deadpool I don't think this would've ever been created the way it was, as far as the violence or vulgarity in the movie. I love the movie, hated the way they ended it but all good things must come to an end.
