Logan is one of those movies that you want to watch over and over again, as it takes enough risks to keep you guessing while at the same time it takes a humanistic approach to Wolverine. This is definitely one of the best modern superhero movies in recent years and the best Wolverine. You will not be disappointed with the acting and overall direction. This being said, this is not a kid-friendly movie as it adds language, blood and some nudity.

When it comes to Wolverine movies, each one is unpredictable. You are unaware whether the filmmakers can depict Logan in a way that feels familiar, yet at the same time, has never been done before. "Logan" is perfect in every way. Not only does this film allow Hugh Jackman to express Wolverine without limits, but it also touches the heart. The special Nior edition is a perfect fit for this type of story and the art production of the film is phenomenal.

So many versions of Logan in the Marvel Comics. From the Weapon X program to the X-Men, to his solo spin offs. But the one thing that lent him is humanity is that he had to re learn being human after undergoing the transition. He held true to his honor, dignity and code. I recall one comic book scene when confronted with a guard dog Wolverine stated " I have no problem gutting a human being, but an animal goes on instinct a human has made their choice."

At last, a Wolverine movie that is not only decent but is also superior as a superhero flick and a movie in general. Consider this 2nd place to Christopher Nolan's Dark Knight which set the bar impossibly high standards for other comic book movies. This movie makes it to that level of cinematography, in that you forget you are watching a "Wolverine" movie and find yourself captivted in a Neo-Western film (which just so happens to star mutants in it).

Like usual, I purposely didn't watch any trailers so i knew almost nothing about the movie. Only seen a picture of a cover with him holding a kids hand. Seen it in theaters opening weekend. It was a good emotional story. Had me a little misty eyed, lol. So it was only fitting that i bought the Blu Ray on the release date. Lookin forward to the next X-Men Movies including the New Mutants and / or X-Force which i think will be semi-based on this movie

Logan in 4k is the best way to watch it outside of the theatres. I've watched it in theaters and the only difference i could tell was the size of the screen i was watching it on and the sound. But the surround sound on this is excellent, about what you can come to expect of a big budget release from lately. If you like wolverine or even a good story i recommend this movie 100%. And if you have an ultra hd television, pick up the best version.

Night and day difference. Color is more rich. Detail can be argued, but without a doubt color is most important player here. Sad that there isn’t the black and white version with this combo, but I digress. Get it and you won’t regret it.

As a huge Wolverine fan I went into this movie with gated enthusiasm and my worries were quickly abated. The creators took such bold chances with the character choices, dialogue and plot and it paid off. This isn’t “amazing movie for a comic book movie”, this is an amazing movie, period. I didn’t think anything Marvel related would rival the quality of Winter Soldier, Iron Man or GotG for me, but Logan did and maybe even surpassed them.

I won't review the movie because you probably already know how great Logan is, but the 4K edition is definitely worth the upgrade. This was my first movie in the format and I must admit that I was skeptical going in. The colors pop, but the real sell here is the detail in the flesh tones, which seem much more natural than blu-ray. It's also a great film to calibrate your setup because of the wide range of dark/light scenes. Highly recommended!

There's not much I can say about the movie that everyone doesn't already know. The movie was very well put together. Visually incredible, acting was incredible. The collector's set comes with the DVD, Blu-Ray and Noir Blu-Ray which has the film in black and white. The special features are great. I cannot recommend this enough. I wanted this for the steelbook, and the artwork on the steelbook was very well done. You will not regret getting this.

At first I didn't want to give this movie a chance but I'm glad I did. Being an X-Man follower, some things confused me but I let it go. Lol. But a good final chapter in the X-Men films. It could have been a little bit better but its still ok.

This was a great sendoff for the Wolverine and Professor X characters. (Sorry to spoil the movie for those who haven't seen it, but, really, who hasn't seen this movie by now.) Still worth watching especially the B&W noir version. There's even a tease for a possible future female Wolverine character with deadly toes. If you enjoyed the previous Wolverine movies with Hugh Jackman, of course, you'll appreciate this one as the end of an era.

This movie is done very well. Maybe you aren't in to whole grizzly superhero fad right now, which is acceptable, but this completely transcends all that bush league. Certain movies trend over time and they evolve or fade away. This is an example of a smart superhero movie that allows tragedy to strike and has stakes. As for appearance, it looks pretty great in 4K. However, the Noir version looks absolutely gorgeous. 10/10 would recommend on 4K.

Just purchased and set up an all Sony 4K AV system and Logan was the first 4K movie I watched on the system. I have to say the ultra high def . video and high res. audio was outstanding to say the least. The movie to me was very well put together and the effects are through the roof. The only thing I'll say is it may not be for everyone because of the graphic violence and blood. But like I said if you're a Xman movie buff it's a must see.

I enjoyed this movie quite a bit. I think the film is a fitting end and final story to the wolverine saga. I haven't yet watched the Black and White/Noir versions of the film, but it does include copies of those. I also haven't yet seen the film in 4K, since I only have a 4K disc and a 4K hdr tv but am still lacking the 4K player. I plan to pick up one soon though, and I know that when I return to the film in both 4k and hdr on my 60 inch Samsung KS8000, the picture quality overall will be final amazing. I love 4k! Much better quality, especially when very close to the TV. The real big and noticeable difference though is HDR. It is a game changer. Overall though this is a great film. Pick it up if you haven't yet seen it.

From the opening scene, this isn't your sanitized X-Men movie. Deadpool opened the door showing how an R marvel movie could be successful. Logan runs through it. The 4k quality is great. HDR makes the colors pop. At one point, my daughter, who normally doesn't comment on video quality, remarked, "Wow look at the colors," during an evening shot. Recommended for Wolverine fans. Warning: brutal with lots of Fbombs. Check IMDB for more info.

After seeing all of the movies in which Logan (AKA Wolverine) had a part or was the main character, I wondered what else could be done with him. But they gave him a daughter with his characteristics in this one. This added another dimension to the persona of Logan. It was refreshingly enjoyable and exciting., And I really liked the idea of having the gifted younger children play important parts which added to the texture of this move!

Logan is definitely not your typical superhero movie! This is a much darker and deeper movie than expected. Set in a not too distant future, where we the viewers see an older version of Wolverine and a mentally unstable Charles Xavier. The acting and characters development are very good. As a final swan-song for Hugh Jackman, in his role as Wolverine, this is a fitting ending for a him after playing the character for over 15 years.

I bought this movie on Black Friday for only $15 and the version I got came with the standard blu-ray disk, the 4K version, as well as 'Logan Noir,' the black and white version of the film. This is probably my favorite comicbook movie I've seen since The Dark Knight Trilogy, so getting a 4K version for that price was really great. Only downside is that it wasn't the steelbook case, but that's just a picky collector's thing.

This was a very dark and a very different Wolverine movie. It acknowledged the other X-men but this is a time with few mutants. It really is about the relationship between Logan and Xavier and a young girl. It is a great story and as much as I enjoyed the ending, it did leave me hoping for more of these characters. I know Hugh Jackman has said this is his last time as Wolverine and as said as that is, he went out with a great movie.
