Thank god when they made all the wolverine movies they didn't go off the existing, confusing, scattered c-men storylines. With the exption of the second wolverine movie, these have all been exceptional GREAT! This one however takes the cake and is truly the BEST! The story line is amazing, the action is badass and the ending is memorable. It might be the last for High Jackman as the clawed crusader, but this story will last forever.

Logan is a superb standalone Wolverine film. Hugh Jackman gives an outstanding final performance as the titular character. Dafnee Keen gives an amazing breakout performance in her role as well. This is the hard R-rated Wolverine film that fans deserve. This set also comes with a black and white "noir" version of the film. "Making of" special feature is on both the standard blu ray(not the noir disc) and dvd discs. Buy this now!!!!

A great and final end to the story of Wolverine. In this timeline, he's beaten up and is slowly dying, and is trying to save the children from a mutant facility. This movie is so beautiful from the seat clenching scenes with Charles Xavier and X-23. 4k really captures the movie clearly, and is worth adding to your collection!

Not gonna lie. This movie is amazing, and one of my favorites featuring Hugh Jackman as Wolverine. But. It starts depressing, and goes downhill from there. A great movie, well done, well told, well performed, but it is a huge punch in the feels. I basically had to mentally file it away in the "What If" category of Marvel comics, great stories, but not technically part of the "real" universe.

Logan was an epic movie. It definitely set the bar for "comic book" movies and shows. Hugh Jackman and Patrick Stewart were at their finest, bringing an emotional yet hopeful conclusion of Marvel's most iconic hero. The Black and white version included in this set brings a classic noir style that brings greater impact to the film adding to the intensity of personal interactions that are the highlight of this film.

Watch as Hugh Jackman gives his Wolverine character a final farewell in his last X-Men movie. This movie will explore through the Old Man Logan comics where, Logan's healing ability has been hindered. Watch as he starts to age and feel the pains that he normally shrugs off. This spells trouble as in a post mutant apocalyptic world, he must try to save the remaining teen mutants including, his own cloned daughter.

It helps to have previously watched the other X-men movies, but this is a great stand alone film on its own. It's extremely violent. But the violence is coupled with a very touching and moving theme of family. Extremely well written, directed, and performed. The young lady in the movie is fantastic (as well as the other 2 main leads)! I can't wait to see future performances by her. THIS MOVIE IS NOT FOR A YOUNG AUDIENCE!

A definite step away from Wolverine's previous film installments, this one is darker, grittier, and rough around the edges. They embrace the R rating, to a flaw in my opinion, taking every opportunity to flaunt the use of vulgar language, as well as include an unnecessary nudity shot just because they can. It's one thing where it's part of the tone, where a film like Deadpool the language felt more inherent, but in Logan it feels a bit forced in. Aside from that, though, it's a good film. I like the darker mood, a mutant survivalist tale rather than conquering the world. It has a few hiccups, but overall a captivating story that serves as a nice bookend to Hugh Jackman's time as Wolverine.

Far and away the best of all X Men movies! Patrick Stewart stole every scene he was in! Hugh Jackman has made it very hard to cast another Adamantium clawed hero (male, that is). The young girl that he begrudgingly takes along was like an adorable wild, viscous animal!! All in all, a really good flick, and very much worth getting in 4K. I haven't had a chance to watch the black and white version, but I plan too soo.

By far the best film yet in the X-Men mythos, this is gritty, gory, and unforgettable. With its hard-R-rating seemingly at odds with its more poignant attributes (themes of good and evil; life and death; youth and old age), this multilayered film is emotionally and spiritually thought-provoking. Bring Kleenex to this party, to soak up the blood, sweat and tears. Definitely my favorite film featuring Logan/Wolverine.

Absolutely enjoyed this (final?) Chapter in the Hugh Jackman 'aka Logan' saga. Not a movie for the younger, pre-teen fans....BUT comic book fans would approve this is the Logan movie that shows us the writer/director cared about the character as we do. Rare, but important to experience a movie that is told with practiced hands and put together in a way that absolutely pays respect and tribute to an iconic character!

This movie is incredible. It's not really for kids, so be warned there. Lots of violence, blood, and cursing. The acting and action was amazing. I knew I wanted the steelbook and when it sold out in my area, I ended up contacting family and friends in New York to see if they'd be able to pick it up and their local Best Buy and send it to me. (I live in GA). So yeah that's how much it meant to me to get it.

first off the movie is amazing. plus it comes with the black & white "noir" version of the film. this is the end all for wolvering and x-men films. trust me. you can't top this. and you may think the artwork for the steelbook is not good, but it is. especially when you open it... also the art is done by the artist who penciled 'old man logan'. if you don't know what that is, then maybe this isn't the film for you.

This movie was pretty decent for giving us some story-line parts without being too typical for the series. It is nice when "plot" takes some precedence over special effects and needless over-violence. (I can appreciate the need for fighting in comic book stories like this, however it can get repetitious and over done.) It seems to me that X-men has generally more "plot driven" and has had more substance than many other sci-fi comic-book movies to begin with. So the handling of this movie is not a total surprise. While this movie wasn't fantastic, it was certainly worth seeing and entertaining. Just don't expect the normal episode, as this brought more closure to the series.

Hugh Jackman finally earns his stripes as the true Wolverine! Packed with gruesome action and heart, it really does the franchise justice. I originally purchased the Logan 4K Blu-ray SteelBook, but unfortunately it arrived crushed as it was poorly packaged. I was never able to secure replacement SteelBook as it sold out instantly on release date. Either way, this ordinary version is still a must-own 4K Blu-ray!

This movie is extremely visceral and violent, which is a departure from the more family-friendly main X-men series. However, the tone matches the state of the world and the persona for which Logan has been known. It has surprising emotional turns, and is my favorite of the X-men franchise. The 4K transfer is gorgeous and a good showpiece for a new TV.

This will easily be in the top 3, if not the best, movie of 2017. Logan gets the sendoff the character deserves - Hugh Jackman is at his best in 17 years of playing Wolverine, although Patrick Stewart might have had the better performance in his finale as Charles Xavier. Best part about the Blu-ray is the included black-and-white "Logan Noir" cut, which lends it even more of the intended Western ballad theme.

I find it funny that Fox finally makes a good standalone Wolverine movie and the name Wolverine is no where in the movies title. All kidding aside, everything positive you may have read or heard about this movie is spot on. This is not the kids version of Wolverine that Fox has been pandering to adults for the past decade and a half. This one is visceral and as close to the comics as we're gonna get.

Logan is the Wolverine film that many of us have been waiting years for. It's dark, brutal, and let's Logan get unhinged in ways that we've been unable to see previously in the mainline X-Men films. The 4K disc is impeccable, and a showboat for your 4K TV to show friends. The NOIR version of the film brings a whole new vibe to Logan, and could be the best - and most beautiful - way to experience this film.

Loved this movie and I was excited to see the black & white version included in the blu-ray set!! The film is amazing, the best X-Men movie (right next to First Class) and a wonderful send off for Hugh Jackman. Love the film, but I wish they could have come up with a better, more appropriate steelbook cover. The cover makes it look like an animated movie, instead of the dark, comic book western that it is.
