This was my favorite movie of the year, even though I'm not a big fan of the X-Men movies. I reviewed the first one back in 2000 and hated it, other than always dependable Patrick Stewart and the surprising Hugh Jackman. They were both fantastic in this last chapter for each of them. The Blu-Ray has some great features, none of which I've had a chance to look through yet, but I look forward to it!

I'm someone who initially didn't care for the artwork for this steelbook. Then the more I looked at it, the more it grew on me. With 4 discs, it is packed to the brim and mine doesn't snap as well when it closes, but it stays closed thankfully. If you loved this film, like the artwork and don't mind 4 discs in a steelbook then I say this is a great pick up for one of my favorite movies of the last decade.

I purchased the movie, because friends of mine really enjoyed the film. I saw it on sale for $11.99 and bought it. I'm glad I did. It's a good film, but it is very violent, so don't watch with kids. The storyline and character development and acting is amazing. The visuals are stunning and I really liked the director's commentary. It has a black and white version of the film that is very impressive.

Centered around the X-Men’s constant question if who does or doesn’t deserve equal rights and humanity, this one explores a much more personal experience for Logan and Dr X as they see what happens to their powers in old-age. It’s a rough watch, seeing what happens to friends as they really do get old. Definitely worth it, but in many ways unlike any of the other X-movies.

Tons of action (more graphic than previous films). Surprisingly touching, emotional, and very funny...I will watch it again! The story takes place in the future, which creates a number of back-stories I was not familiar with, so it was somewhat challenging to piece some things together...left with some questions even at the end. (I'm assuming those details exist, maybe known to comic book super fans).

Overall great movie. If you aren't into comics, I suggest to watch just for the story alone. The great thing about these movies from Marvel or DC comics is that the story is interesting (even if you imagine the powers removed). You do not need to watch any of the other Xmen movies or Wolverine movies to watch Logan. This is the last time that Hugh Jackman will play Wolverine and it is bittersweet.

Now again I'm going to tell You this movie is the last and final movie for Hugh Jackman playing the character/role of "Logan, Weapon X and Wolverine" also the last and final movie for Patrick Stewart playing the character/role of "Charles Xavier and Professor X" but You know what anything is possible in Marvel Comics Universe (MCU) so own it and watch it plus it's a major huge big recommendation!

This is the way Marvel should have been making movies. I was reading as a kid and now an adult and our Heros have gotten older as the world has gotten darker. LOGAN is so in line with where i believe we would be if this was real life. The BEST Marvel movie so far, hands down, DEADPOOL is second. I hope this is the ADULT movies we will start seeing. Don't miss this movie...........and bring tissues.

Whether you are a fan of comic book films or not, or even if you are but are not big on Fox's X-Men saga (there are plenty reasons not to be), it cannot be denied that this is a genuinely great film that can be fully appreciated on its own merits. It is definitely the best film out of the X-Men/Wolverine films and doesn't even really depend on having familiarity with those films to be appreciated.

"Logan" was already an exceptional addition to the super hero genre, but the "Noir" version for the Blu-ray release elevates it to a remarkable work of art. The cinematography is heightened and the feel of throwback to the former hard-boiled detective and lone-struggle westerns becomes apparent and fundamental. Haven't listened to the director's commentary yet, but very much looking forward to it.

My wife and me seen this movie well after it's release on home video and the steelbooks had sold out. I just happened to be browsing Best Buy.com and noticed they did another print, and I was lucky enough to grab one for $19.99, before it sold out (again!). Not the greatest art on the steelbook itself, but for the price and havinng it on 4K still a great buy. Recommended!!!

I've told many people that this is my favorite super hero movie, after The Dark Knight. The story is great and this has some wonderful performances, especially from Patrick Stewart and Dafne Keen. The ending of the movie is fantastic and the 4k UHD looks great. I believe this was shot in 3.4K and then upscaled to 4k. Add HDR and this is a beautiful looking film. 5 stars.

Logan is a really enjoyable movie! I've seen many of the Marvel movie adaptations and this is likely one of my favorites and possibly the most realistic. The acting and story are both very good. My favorite part is the action. There are some great fights with some somewhat gory deaths—especially, by comic movie standards. I would highly recommend checking this movie out if you haven't yet!

Logan is darker than all the other X-Men movies (Older ones from the 2000's & even the more recent ones from 2010's). It is great that they went with an R rating on this movie to really showcase Logan. A gritty & violent experience was something that the X-Men series needed. I highly recommend this movie for others to watch.

Fox has stumbled many times with the X-Men franchise, but this one makes up for just about all their other misfires. A great movie, whether you are a comic book/Wolverine fan or not. It has the action you would expect, but it's the emotional connection that really sets this one apart and it's the perfect sendoff for Jackman and Stewart in their respective roles. From start to finish, superb.

To begin, I'm not someone who has followed the comics, but I have loved the recent X-Men movies. This does not disappoint! It's a very unique story within the universe, darker and more subdued - a fitting send-off to everyone's favorite character. This copy included the Noir version, which adds an extra dark element to the story. Definitely worth adding to your movie collection!

I have seen every X-men universe movie multiple times and I have to say this is one of the best. The story is geared towards adults and done in a mature way that you don't feel spoon fed kiddie stuff. It is a sad tale and the setting is kind of depressing but overall the story is strong and impactful. This is what the last two Wolverine movies should have been to give the character justice.

This excellent Blu gives us two choices. Watching the theatrical version that was pretty spectacular or go above and beyond with the way the director intended Logan to look...in Back & White. An actual noire version of "old Man Logan." Grittier and more intense, this Logan is the one to see. The presentation is even better than the Mad Max Fury Road. A definite one to add to your library.

This movie was bittersweet. If you're a fan of Wolverine and always thought the movies still didn't make him brutal enough, this is for you! Wolverine kicks tons of a$$ and nothing's left to your imagination. It's saddening hearing this is Hugh Jackman's last film playing the character. This will leave you wishing they'd taken his character down this route far sooner. I'll miss you Hughey!

The Unrated cut of the 2013 movie The Wolverine got close to what needed to be done for the character - and Logan crosses that line and goes the extra mile. Suitably violent and gory (the dude has razor sharp claws coming out of his fists), foul-mouthed, and a mature, focused story (and quite surprisingly - emotional) make this the definitive movie for a true Logan / Wolverine experience.
