It’s not completely terrible if you’re used to basic sounding headsets but I have tried all Astro headsets before they were acquired by Logitech and they were awesome. Now it’s just basic and flat. Just a money grab

Good sound quality but head band is not

Removed useful features for streamers

However, they removed extremely useful features for anyone with a 2 pc setup. With this you have to go setup voicemeeter, you remove the use of a good mixer, and overall they made this an expensive headset for the casual gamer, but usually the casual gamer doesn’t go for this pricey of a headset. I’d highly recommend sticking with your prior gen a50s or 40s before going to these new ones.

This headset is not easy to set up. The astro command center needed to get the headset working, is garbage. Outdated and cheaply made. The program wouldnt even recognize the headset no matter all the different troubleshooting steps I tried. There are tons of reviews online with the same issues. I wouldnt recommend this headset to anyone which is very disappointing because I have used Astro A40's and A50's for almost a decade.

Sound quality was lacking and the volume was way too low even on the highest setting. Maybe I just got a dud, but immediately returned. The headset feels sturdy, but it’s heavy and I felt like it was squeezing my head from the sides. The earcups also felt a little small, but they were well cushioned.

Hurts head weighs too much

Overall the features are nice but the weight of the headset makes it unbearable for longer gaming sessions. I am trying 3rd party options but have not found much relief. The way the headband is made is not suitable for a headset of this weight. I would've returned this if I would've realized within the return window. If you don't believe me do a quick google search of astro a50 and headband and you'll see many other people.

Bad compatibility with pc

I heard from a friend that it works well with his console.
