The cover bends to give the iPad a stand, like the Surface tablet has built-in. I bought the blue/red version because it was on sale. Otherwise I would have bought the black one.

Very nice design

I was able to get my iPad into the case so I was able to try the hinge feature which is outstanding. Ultimately I couldn't use the buttons so it really does only work with ipad air 2
