Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.If you are a musician using audio infteraces- iOS microphones- midi connectors- or any external equipment that draws power from your iPad Pro- this dock is a must have- as it will charge your unit while those things are plugged into it. The base itself is very sturdy- puts screen at a really good viewing tilt, antislip pad on bottom is like grip tape. All in all- this is a must have product- worth every cent. I did an online in store pick up- couldn't be any easier.

Very slow charger, below average Dock

Your ipad must be put in with the Smart Connector facing down, this is really easy to do and magnets help in the process. Removing your ipad from the dock requires 2 hands because of the magnets. As far as charging goes it is S L O W. It took 30 minutes to charge 4 - 5%. Your better off unplugging the cable from this dock and plugging it in to your ipad while it's in this dock. Because it's way faster not to use this dock at all if you need to charge your ipad. If you want a charger worth the money you're better off spending $49.99 on the apple USB C charger and getting the USB C charger cable $19.99 which will charge your IPAD Pro super fast for the money. Sure it's not a dock, but it is a better use of money. I ended up returning this as it was not worth the money.

Does not work with 29W Adaptor.

You also need a USB-C to Lightning cable. This product does not work with the more powerful adaptor.
