    I only bought it because I couldn't find anything else. But the item is heavy, and I don't need it to shut down and open the iPad immediately. It can wait the 2 minutes to shut off (or I can do it myself), and I can push the home button myself to get it going. Also, it doesn't work that well as a stand.

    I've always used lifeproof cases on my ipads and since the lifeproof has not been released for the new ipad air, I was reluctant at first to purchase this case, but then after a few days I was extremely pleased. I would recommend this to anyone who has a diverse need for a great overall case.
