Disappointing

The slots that are suppose to allow you to do that are not deep enough so the iPad keeps falling flat. If I had the packaging, I would return it.

No solid base

Thought it fitted the iPad Air too, but on Air 2

Better than Apple SmartCase

You can position the iPad in 5 different viewing angles in landscape which is the main reason I love it. The deciding factor for me is the military standard drop protection. Like Apple's, you can position the iPad for typing and also the case grips the outer edges of the iPad so that it is fully displayed and useful. As an added bonus with this case you can fold it back and see the back of your iPad because the main part of the case is somewhat transparent. I like this because I can admire the color iPad I've chosen (why else choose a color if not to enjoy it?). Of course I wish I could stand it up in portrait but it was clear to me from the start this was not a feature of this case -and also it is not a feature of apples SmartCase. The sleep/wake function works flawlessly for me. Even though the cover protects the screen from scratches and spills, I have ordered an adhesive screen protector just in case.

great case for IPad Air

This is an excellent case for the money - better than the Apple cases
