    Purchased on a whim because, works fine, but wish it had the ability to zoom because it is so far in my face! I have to set it up on a tripod BEHIND my monitor and finagle it to have me proportioned in the window.

    Logitech Brio 100 wouldn't work so returned

    After installing it on my Windows 10 computer, it would not work. The picture was all wooky, we did reinstall, troubleshooting as appropriate, checked search for other cases like it, and tried to make it work. It didn't so Best Buy gave us our money back. Perhaps someone else will get this Logitech product to work.

    again, this item like the Ryzen computer, first new item was defective. From first purchase was not able to use this item for min. 4 days.

    good quality picture but the base camera has a very close zoom which makes it hard to use up close

    Focus?

    I bought it for the online exam but the webcam can't focus on my ID for some reason. The picture is very blurry. I downloaded Logitech software and it doesn't even have the option to adjust the focus.

    But something else that mounts easily or clips

    Super light weight, will not mount anywhere without additional means. No way to attach it to the top of a computer monitor, or laptop, or come with anything that allows you to mount it. The best you can do with this is set it on something and hope it doesn’t fall off.

    No it doesn't support Windows Hello

    Despite what it says on the website and documentation the Brio 100 does not support Windows Hello which was why i bought it. After some time, Logitech apologized tnd gave me a discount from a camera 6 times the price . Arrgh!

    I tried to connect the webcam to all my Usb-A ports and nothing happened. Too bad i should have checked it before the return window. Cannot believe this happened!

    webCam does not have good range of motion or focus ability. The hook isn’t adjustable, so it doesn’t make for a good external webcam to attach to your laptop.

    Why does this emphasise everything ???

    It emphasised all of my fine lines and I couldn’t find a way to fix it in the settings to make the quality any different. The lighting adjustment was terrible. I would rather use my iphone camera over this.

    I honestly thought it would be better quality seeing it has 1080p written on it but once using it on my own, it was not good. I’ll probably end up storing it away.

    Great webcam for the price

    First impression: The Logitech Brio 100 webcam seems like a sturdy small, easy-to-carry webcam. It’s packaged well and includes a built-in lens cover for privacy protection. Setup: There is no setup, just plug it in and it is connected. When you open a Web cam supported program, it automatically turns on unless the program has the webcam set off as default. There is a program called Logi Options + that allows you to change a few settings, but I doubt most people would need it. I looked at it, and everything I would be interested in was already at default. Performance: I have quite a few laptops, but 2 of them are used for work, a MacBook Pro and a Dell Latitude 5420. Both laptops have built-in cameras, and both fall short of being ok for business meetings using either Teams or Zoom. In my office, I have fluorescent lighting, and the lights are behind me. On both laptops, I look like I am in a dimly lit cave. And when I use a background, it’s even worse. Testing out this camera proved to be a major quality update for my meetings. When I opened Teams and then Zoom, it took the camera a few seconds to adjust to the poor lighting. Once it found the correct adjustment, the image quality was outstanding. I was no longer getting washed out and silhouetted, but I had good lighting on me, and the background lighting looked normal. Adding a background did not phase the lighting one bit. The audio on this camera is also superior to the built-in audio on all my laptops. Some of the laptops are better than the others, but this camera was consistent in every test. I no longer felt like I had to talk louder to come across, but I spoke my normal inside voice and everyone could hear me just fine. Conclusion: The Logitech Brio 100 webcam Is an amazing webcam for the price. If you do content creation or live streaming, you might want a broadcast or cinematic camera. But for the average person who needs a better camera for Teams and Zoom calls, you can’t beat the Logitech Brio 100, especially for the price. Even if it was more expensive, I would recommend this webcam.

    Simple setup, works very well

    This is a very nice, simple, easy to set up, and easy to use webcam. There are no included instructions, and none are needed. Just plug it into a USB port and start up whatever program you need a camera for. We have children scattered around the world (ok, Oregon and Germany) while we live in the midwest, and we do video calls with them all the time. So we have a constant need for a good webcam, and this Logitech Brio fits the bill perfectly. It mounts easily to your monitor. It has a little sliding cover so you can cover the lens when you’re not using it, and it provides a high-quality image. One thing to keep in mind is that the usefulness and enjoyability of the HD image that this camera aims to provide is only of value to the person you are communicating with, not yourself, as you don’t need to see yourself on a computer screen (although you always do see yourself so you know what others are seeing, but it’s a small, off-in-the-corner image that does not need HD clarity to be useful). So the quality of the image seen by the people you’re communicating with can only be as good as THEIR video system allows. We did survey our offspring about the quality of the image they were seeing, and they said it was fine. Sound clarity was fine, too. This camera has the ability to automatically adust the image depending on the ambient light, and I tried it in both low light from a nearby desk lamp as the only source of illumination and then with the bright ceiling lights on, and, in both instances, the camera automatically adjusted the exposure to compensate and provide a good-looking, evenly-lighted image. Very impressive. The camera can be used to take snapshots of whatever is being imaged at that moment, and the quality of these images is fine as well. The camera is lightweight and very small, easily fitting in the palm of your hand. It has a fold-out support to make mounting atop your montor easy. If you’re looking for a good-quality webcam, you’ll do fine with this model.
