I purchased this camera for my dad. He uses Skype. Overall the camera performs fine. Good picture and sound quality. Better than the older camera he was replacing.

Overall easy to use and very portable. The issue is that the clip mechanism is not always very stable.

It works well, and basically automatically. The only possible pitfall (which I fell into), is that in order for the camera to participate in a Zoom Meeting, you must not have it on watching you as you position it for the best angle. If you leave it on, it cannot participate in the meeting, since it can't do 2 jobs at once. It must be off, then Zoom will automatically turn it on for the meeting.

the quality is not something to strive for, its a webcam thats better than most integrated webcams on laptops, but in order to actually have decent results with it, you NEED to have good lighting, many of these reveiws are from people that complain about the quality, remember that you paid 40 bucks for it, and that proper lighting makes a world of difference

I honestly doubted how nice this camera would be. It's really nice for a midrange one. Plus, it picks up picture from dark/just computer lit rooms very well. I didn't think it would. I'm not using it for business calls, only with friends, so I'm not sure how "professional" it looks for Teams and things like that..

The webcam was easy to set up but required downloading from the internet. The download was excessively long. The picture quality is adequate for the price paid. I don't use webcams much so for the few video calls I make it is more then sufficient. Ant information about using the device is also found on the internet and not in the box. I have yet to see whether it will automatically open when I get a call or extra steps will be required from my side. That's annoying
