I had a sudden opportunity to appear on a podcast and needed a webcam. This was the most reasonably priced one around. It installed quickly and was ready to go. The only trouble I had was that I wanted to use a higher quality microphone. I took a couple minutes of chatting with the hosts of the show to figure out there was an echo being cause by the cameras onboard mic. Once that was turned off I was able to use my other mic and it all sounded great.

During covid needed something for parents to talk to Doctor offices. Great resolution.

this is only a 720P but it is just as good as other 1080 ones that I have

After my "free" upgrade to Windows 10, my Microsoft webcam no longer functioned. So I searched for an inexpensive replacement webcam that is compatible with the Windows 10 Camera application. There are a lot of Logitech webcams that will work but this inexpensive one works just fine. It works not only with the Windows 10 camera app but also integrates with every other app I tried (great for facebook, too).

This is a good entry level webcam for basic use. Our company use these for regular meetings with customers as well as presentations. Tons of apps in the Microsoft store to use with this as well as background filters to block out unwanted attention.

Good webcam for the price. Provides good quality. The only downfall is you need to be pretty close when you talk into the mic otherwise sound isn't good.
