It is just a plug and play webcam so easy to install. The difficulty may be in properly adjusting the camera to center the image.

The only problem I had was not looking closely at the instructions and not allowing Microsoft install it. By doing so I couldn't be heard by whom I was trying to video chat with. Looking closely at the instructions it recommended on going to Logitech.com to download the driver. Once I did that I had no more problem. The instructions need to be better.
