    I havent brought a webcam in years but needed one for school. This one gives very fuzzy photos (just like ones 15 years ago i thought they would have gotten better!). One of the things we need to do for finals is show our id and there is alwaya an issue with that part due to this camera. Otherwise it is easy to set up and has the mount keeps it in place well.

    This camera is no longer supported by Logitech and will not work with Windows unless you edit some security settings in the registry. Do not buy. I would return it if Best Buy stores were open

    While the picture quality of this webcam is passable, the problem with this model is that it actually has a traditional 4:3 sensor, but the internal software automatically crops the top and bottom off the image in order to fake a "wide" aspect ratio. This means the image is way too zoomed in for video conferencing, and if you sit at a typical distance from your webcam, your face fills the camera view, making you look way too close.
