Picks up audio from across the room. Works well in medium lit areas. Tho I’ve noticed zoom add low light adjustment on recent update so it could be their end that darkens the view. I’ve used several cams for meetings (Logitech 910, 920, 922, J5 etc) All work relatively as good as the another. If just using for school/work, save your $ on the expensive ones..buy the c270, it works great at a great price! Especially for the kids on a laptop, very easy

Huge Improvement over laptop cam
