This works great both in windows and linux, although I found that if it was previously muted on a windows machine it will remain muted on a linux if used later. I expect it's a problem with the v4l drivers. I'm really glad I purchased it before the COVID shutdown--it got much harder to find good and not expensive webcams after that.
