Son’s college necessity

He had built his own pc and didn’t have a webcam. They force them to be on camera so this is how he got on.

Versatile Camera

Later I needed to use one on an old Window's XP laptop and decided to try it on that. It installed and worked as well as on the desktop and all software was available on the manufacturer's website. Yeah!!

Great Webcam for the Money

My son uses it almost every day to chat with friends and family, and I like the peace of mind when we are away that I can be notified if there's someone coming inside the house when there isn't supposed to be!

My sisters and I do Zoom calls once in a while, and I wanted to use my computer with the bigger screen ( it doesn't have a camera built in) instead of my phone.

Challenges to get working with other apps

I had trouble with an online job interview app. It kept muting the camera. Also with an online identity verification app it would not recognize the camera. It did work fine with Skype.

I had to record a video presentation. It did just fine. It has held up to frequent usage. Pretty sturdy.
