Needed to get dad a camera for his computer. This was a decent option for the brand name; however, would go with something cheaper that probably has the same quality.

I love this little guy! This Logitech - HD Webcam C270 is exactly what I need for Zoom and tutoring online. It slides well along the top of my monitor to position and it stays put.

I never had a web cam before and was so pleased to be able to connect to friends and family during quarantine. We also use it for Zoom sessions with our granddaughter's playgroup.

I took one start off because that camera take me time to find the good angle. Good little buddy.

To cut to the chase, this webcam is not that good. Why did I need it? Because we're in quarantine and I'm working from home, I have a 2 monitor setup and my laptop has to sit facing me at a 45 degree angle. People at work kept making little comments about how I wasn't looking straight into the camera so I decided to get one that I could mount on top of a monitor and point directly at me. Why isn't it that great? If I recall correctly, it said it was a 720p, which I believe is the same as the built-in webcam on my work laptop. The one on my work laptop is probably twice as clear (but still isn't that impressive). Why didn't I return it? Because I needed it to attend meetings and have the camera facing me, and we're in a pandemic which prompted webcams to sell out and/or quadruple in price in the spring. This was $30. It performs like a $20 webcam, so 2/5 stars is considered "Fair." I think that's fair considering current events. I give Best Buy 5/5 stars for having a cheap webcam in stock in June of 2020, though! I used my personal laptop (MSI Prestige) once for a meeting and someone commented how amazingly "hi def" I looked. That's because it has a good integrated webcam. If you're looking to stream YouTube videos or podcasts or whatever, don't use this one. This is "good enough for work" or "good enough to Skype with family" and that's as far as it goes. To be "Fair" you'll need to drop 5 to 10 times this amount to get something that will meet your needs for "serious streaming." ... that said, the "Would you recommend this to a friend?" question... I would rather answer "It depends on what they're using it for" but it's Yes or No. Overall, if you care about quality at all, I'd suggest spending double to buy something that's at least 1080p.

This was a last minute need for a new Dell PC used with our child's on line learning. It connected and sync'd perfectly with the PC, is stable and very affordable.

It works for what I need it for which is virtual meetings and classes. The picture is a little grainy but nothing that prevents me from using it the way I need it to.

Overall good quality camera but if it had more movement it would get the 5 stars.

I needed a camera for a facial recognition game. I was not disappointed. The camera does good in low lighting situation. I would definitely recommend it for any Skype users as well.

Needed an inexpensive camera for all the video meetings with work from home. The quality was fair.

Woks on 98 and up Win OS. Easy to set up, good depth of field. Color is fair/good. Sound needs some adjustment.

Got a great price match buy BB on this decent cam. Fast pnp on Windows 10. Used on video only. Shows only about 15 fps on network test but looks faster.

Great basic webcam. Needed for occasional zoom and webex meetings. Not the highest quality, but then I'd have to shave.

I really like this webcam and it is full of features. It is fast, looks great, and seems reliable. It's not one of those which will freeze. The only knock is that it is not 1080p. But, I was in need and this was very affordable. I am satisfied.

For the price you really cant beat these little powerhouses. Only issue I have is that the usb cable is kind of short. I would recommend a usb extension to make sure this can reach your PC.

I own a few Logitech webcams. This one does not match up to the rest but it does the job. Picture quality seems a bit fuzzy and on Zoom a bit pale.

I am glad I purchased this lower priced unit, because I am more than satisfied with it’s quality. I was very tempted to purchase the more costly units but I am glad that I went with much lower-priced unit first.

I bought this because it was affordable. I haven't had any issues. It's still working like day 1. Easy installation & software download.
