If you're comparing it to the webcam on a mac - you are going to get nearly 5-10x poorer video quality with this webcam. A lot of webcams were sold out so that is why I'm not returning this one, but don't spend your money on this one - it looks like it takes half the frames per second that it's suppose to be taking.

Terrible camera

I bought this as a requirement for a side view camera for an exam. The camera was unable to read my photo ID when I held it up to the camera. It was blurry no matter has close or how far I placed the ID. I had to return it. Also there was no screw on adapter to mount this camera to a tripod.

Bad webcam

item had to be exchanged as defective

Less than 24 hrs after purchasing, and with the original receipt, I was "hassled" in having to show a personal ID before being able to make the even exchange. This is a B Buy policy, per the mgr. I registered my irritation with this policy. It was bad enough having to go back to exchange the defective item, without the added hassle. Thank you very much!

This webcam worked for a couple of weeks, then it stopped working. I will never recommend it to anyone. If I can find the receipt, I will return it.

Brought it home and it promptly died

Unfortunately, the original packaging went missing - probably thrown out with the trash. Now, I’m stuck with a non-functional webcam with no hope of recovery. Pitiful.
