Great for videoconferencing

Videoconferencing has never been a good substitute for face-to-face meetings, despite what the bean-counters and managers think. Now that our highly esteemed elected representatives have forced dramatic reductions in travel, we're looking for a way to slow the erosion of our complex inter-agency collaborations. I bought two of these for my division and they are shared among 10 people on Windoze and Macs; they are easy to hook up and to disconnect and re-install. In the past, the jerky video and the inability to carry on multi-party discussions would be a poor substitute for a site visit, but the Logitech cameras are better than our past experience and certainly beat no discussion at all. Thanks to Best Buy and logitech, we have restored some of our collaborations to a tolerable level. Gotta save those tax dollars to get more work done.

Cheap camera

Seems like I need to use a light around the camera for a better picture. The built in mic is trash, even if I change the settings to max volume for the mic, people can rarely hear me and I'm naturally loud.
