Crop is too tight but good overall.

But generally, it’s a good webcam! I used it for a year, still have it, and enjoy the quality. It’s great for the price and right applications. Definitely beats your laptop.

Do not recommend

And since the field of view is so small, that takes up most of the screen. It’s also hard to get it to sit on top of the monitor. I’m not happy at all but it’s outside the return window.

Posted .Hi DKS1, I'm sorry that you were unable to adjust the settings on the C505 to the level you desired. The C505 does have a small field of view at 60° which can make the image take up the whole screen. I'm sorry you had difficulty getting to to mount to the top of your monitor as well. Great webcam with microphone

I bought this because it offers a long range built in microphone next to the camera lens. I work remotely and often on video meetings. I can walk around my desk talking without any degredation of my voice through the microphone.

Solid Inexpensive Webcam

It’s a good, cheap option for team meetings and job interviews. 100% wouldn’t recommend for streaming or anything where quality is important. If you’re looking for a webcam in a pinch just pick this up, it’s price to performance is solid and likely better than most middle of the road laptop cams.
