I bought this when I was in Best Buy in a hurry, and was disappointed in the fact that they didn't seem to carry any webcams besides Logitech ones at all in their store. I searched everywhere, I asked three different sales people from the computer department, and all of them told me that their Logitech display had the only webcams they carried. The resolution on this webcam is fine, and its color reproduction and light sensitivity will probably be better than the built-in webcam on the average laptop, but it doesn't really have the quality I expect out of a webcam at this price point. I was using webcams 10 years ago that had better overall quality at the same price as this one. That said, it's fine if you don't care all that much. The face tracking and auto focus is decent, and I haven't had any complaints about the audio (although it doesn't cancel out the sound of your speakers, so people will hear an echo if you don't mute yourself when they're talking). My other big complaint about this is the extremely short cable. My laptop dock is on the keyboard tray on my desk, but the cable can't really reach it from on top of the monitors on my desk. That's pretty bad. If you're attaching it to your laptop's monitor, you'll be fine, but if you're connecting it to a desktop system or a laptop dock, you might want to get a coupler or an extension cable.

Terrible image quality. Washed out light and otherwise blurry. No way to adjust either. Returning it.

This webcam is a decent offering from Logitech, with good audio and video quality and it can also take still images. The base of the webcam is very versatile and can sit just fine on my Samsung LED monitor, so those with new thin displays need not worry, this camera will sit on it just fine. Also the full swivel allows you to place it just about anywhere. The audio and video quality is good, although in my somewhat dimly lit den you can see some noise creeping in. Similar results with still images. Close up images lack a lot of detail and the focus breaks loose and hunts a bit in low light. As far as a bang for your buck factor, I wonder how much longer the webcam will stay relevant, with Facetime and similar offerings on Droid platforms along with integrated webcams on most laptops, it seems that spending a decent amount on something that needs to hang off of a wire might soon be a thing of the past.

I use this on my office computer to attend zoom and other platforms of web meetings/seminars. Set up was basically plug & play. Very easy. Picture is great. Audio is very clear. Have been using for almost two years with no problems

The best HD 1080p webcam I have found without being a professional version. Easy to setup and software was a dream with all the options it has. Used to film a educational lab video and I could not be happier with the quality and file size of the end product. Highly recommend for all your skype, webcam or youtube projects.

As a long time C920 user, I was mildly surprised by the quality in sound and picture that my Skype pals noticed from the much smaller C615. I was more surprised by weight and storage convenience. Its size, weight and pack-ability is much appreciated.

I bought 3 of these for video conferencing during lockdown. The quality of the video is great for the price. The cameras are easy to use, focus is good, and low light performance is better than expected. The field of view is a bit wide, showing more of the room than expected, and the cable is really short. Makes me think they planned on these being used on laptops where the user would be closer and the cable didn't have far to go, but most laptops have cameras already, so I don' t know.

We have this mounted on top of our TV (connected to a micro PC that is in one of the inputs), so we can use Google Hangouts to chat with our daughter in college (we have a big family, and this is about the only way for her to see everyone in the living room). Works great. Good picture, clear audio, and easy to use. Lost a star because the mounting method is flexible (great!), but not super secure (not great!) and the cable is WAY too short (I think it's 1 meter).

As i recently purchased the web cam, it will take some time to use and return a proper critique, but so far I'm quite satisfied. The price for such a professional web cam was amazingly affordable. Set up was automatic. Pictures are crisp even with low light. I haven't tried audio yet, but i expect it to be as profound as the picture clarity. The USB cable could be a little longer, but it does reach the front of my desk top with ease from atop the monitor. The web cam can be placed atop a tripod if wanted, a real plus to me. All in all, I'm very satisfied with this as a replacement for my old web cam which my son's dog ate. Honest.

This web camera is fantastic. Hd means clear picture and the mic picks up my voice perfectly for web calls. I would highly recommend it. A great value.

worked great! easy set up, out of box and plug into computer. Would have been better with a longer cord, had to buy extension to reach top of my pc to computer tower below. opening Barely fit top of my computer monitor as my as my screen monitor is 2 inches depth, it fits but I just don't bump it or may fall off.

For a 1080p webcam, it does good. It does really well when there is enough light in the room and it does Ok when there's low light. It gives you a slight orange-ish tint to your skin when the light is low. This product is made for traveling/laptop use! The USB cord is very short! I needed a USB extension cable (small one) to be able to plug it into the back of the PC and sit it on top of the monitor on my desk. The dimensions are wrong for this thing on BB's site, it does not weigh 8.8lbs, not even with the box. That's a joke too, the box must be 10x larger than the webcam. Would I recommend this product, probably not, unless you need one in a pinch. For school, the c270's are fine if you want to stick with Logitech brand. For work, depending if you have to Zoom/Webex meetings all day, it does good overall (but short usb cable). But, I'd probably look for another one that has better specs.

Great features for the price. Item was very easy to set up for individuals who are not tech savvy. Very satisfied with the picture and sound quality. Would recommend.

Good quality camera but with some annoying issues. First the cable is too short to plug into anything other than your monitor (assuming your monitor has a USB port). The way the camera attaches to your monitor is awkward to say the least. The pro's are great pic, great mic, and the ability to swivel.

I plugged in the webcam thinking it would be a mid range quality but it proved to be well worth the cost and better than I thought it would be. What I love the most about it, and most Logitech items, is that it was plug and play which meant I didn't have to spend an hour searching for the best software driver, as we all know that some of the most recent drivers have more bugs than fixes. Great value for a great product!

I am starting to stream and record gameplay, I wanted a decent quality Webcam that wouldn't decimate my Wallet. This fits the bill nicely. It was quick and painless to setup on my windows 8.1 system no drivers needed to be installed (which can be annoying) So Plug & play was a nice experience. My only concern is that they should make the primary USB cord longer. Instead of HAVING to use the adapter to connect to my system which is only 3 feet away from the monitor.

Logitech's C615 camera was easy to set up and worked great to Skype. It also provided a good microphone to use Windows 10 Cortana.
