It can be place on a flat surface or on top of the monitor (this is how I use it). Not the best quality, but can’t complain for the price.

It installs easily, is easy to use, and has good resolution. I like it and as a cheaper camera, you will like it too.

There weren't any written instructions on how to set it up and I had to Google the information on where to find the software for it. Also, the USB cord that it comes with isn't very long.

Great For School Meetings

The cables are a little short would be my only complaint. Video & sound quality are good.

The ONLY reason I give it 4 stars is that it wasn't really perfect out of the box. The settings allow the camera to track and zoom in randomly on objects it thinks are faces, which 9/10 are not. So, other than that odd feature being shipped out of the box, it's a great camera for the price! (just disable the odd not-so-great zoom feature)
