Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I was looking for a personal web cam for a desktop computer and debated between this and another higher priced Logitech webcam, evaluating both side by side, ultimately choosing another for my needs. However, this is the best personal webcam I've seen at this price point. It's build quality is very good and it sat very securely and at a nice height on my 24" monitor. It has full HD 1080p at 30 FPS, with an option 720p at 60 FPS. It is rated at 2 megapixels. It has a 70 degree field of view, which is common for a personal webcam. It has two stereo microphones. In testing it, it has a warm color, excellent clarity, picked background colors true to life, but made my skin tone slightly redder than it was. The stereo microphones produced a very good quality audio of my voice - I was able to speak normally and it picked up my voice with no problem. For these tests, I put both cameras in an identical position and with the same mic level. It comes in the box with a tripod and instructions. It is completely plug and play. Blue lights light when the camera is activated. It was a close call and I could've gone for either camera, but opted to choose another due to its truer color matching for skin tones, overall image, and better audio quality.

Posted .Hi! Sorry to read you're having performance related issues with your C922 webcam. You can use an app called Logitech Capture to customize things like the Zoom and brightness on the webcam. Worked great until mid-August and it just died! Computer won't recognize it and it won't turn on! Not happy at all!

Poor quality

The locking mechanism works only for the tilt and is easily unlocked. Also, the 1/4 inch thread falls out when the tripod is being screwed onto the base.

I bought it on May 16 and have used it a handful of times and it stopped working. Had a Logitech previously that lasted about a year with minimal use - this one lasted a month and a half.
