The video quality is quite good, and it work right after plugging it in. I can't comment on the microphone quality, because I use a separate mic/speaker combo on my system. For people doing video streaming, the included software includes a chromakey feature where you can replace the background of your room with another image, but you will want to hang a solid color blanket on the wall behind you, of a color that is otherwise not in your scene.

Did some rather quick research and found Logitech a leader in webcams so decided to go with them. Then performed some research on their various models and felt the C922 may well suit my needs, given I wanted a quality video and audio transmission. After all is said and done, I am very pleased with this unit. Easy to install and my quality requirements have been met. I would highly recommend it.

I wanted a Webcam but I also wanted a Logitech, so I had to wait until it was in stock again to avoid the online price gouging of this webcam. I am happy to say that the model I wanted was finally made available and at an affordable price. It was super easy to install, basically plug and play, and started working right out of the box. I find this model to be a real team player for all of my virtual needs and I highly recommend it!
