I’ve owned this item for months. It works decently - the only issue is the touch mouse no longer works for clicking and I have to use the iPad screen. It lags occasionally when typing, but what more could you ask for…

We tried everything and this case would not fit. The lip of the case just wouldnt wrap around to get the thing in. Case might be great if it would go on. This was for an 11 inch ipad pro gen 4

It is very convenient to have but it’s kind of heavy. It takes away from the lightweight feel which is why I purchased my IPad.

I found this product’s design to be lacking in a few key areas. The stand is difficult to open, which makes it frustrating to use on a regular basis. Additionally, the material shows fingerprints very easily, which detracts from its overall aesthetic. While it is more flexible than Apple’s version, allowing for multiple positions and angles, it ultimately didn’t work for me. It’s a good concept, but the practical design could use some improvements.

Less expensive than apple keyboard but heavy. More than doubles weight.

Mousepad broke in less than a month. Shame as it was easy to use.

Key struck is not always result that shows on screen. Example: composing emails is challenging because device inserts a return or even minimizes email while one is in the act of typing.

Build Quality is very cheap. I like the folio aspect, but its not worth it when the keyboard feels like a plastic toy.

Update! After six months of gentle light use by adults only indoor home , no traveling no work the case is falling apart. At this price it should last much longer. Great secure case, wish the keyboard had Bluetooth options.

Heavily disappointed, loved the previous version of this product. The keyboard is amazing, but everything else is not really good. Cannot attach some USB devices. Fingerprints and scratches everywhere as per other reviews!

It doesn't fit my o pad the manager got it for me.

This is the latest iteration of the Combo Touch that I have used with my iPads.The my past Combo Touches were for a 13 inch iPad Pro, this one being for my current 11 inch iPad Pro, it is obviously smaller, particularly felt in the keyboard. First, aesthetically speaking, this Combo Touch has some changes to it from the previous models, feeling noticeably lighter to me, even with the iPad being the smaller version, the density feels less. I think part of this is that the material surface doesn’t feel padded like previous versions. This version has a rubbery texture, with no real padding to speak of, but I think this is part of the reason for the less weight feeling. The surface that when open sits on the desktop or table (or lap) is a metal plate, with no rubbery material over it. This makes the keyboard on the inside a very rigid experience, which is good, but the metal being exposed on the outside is an odd choice to me. It’s the only real part that is not covered. Both materials also show fingerprints pretty easily, and being a charcoal gray to black color, that means this does show fingerprints most of the time. Opening up the case is pretty similar to previous versions. The kickstand on the back of the part that holds the iPad is sturdy, and I find it very supportive. It also doesn’t wobble or anything when open, so it feels high quality. The iPad inserts into this part, and forms a lip around the screen, and while this has advantages, I have been worried that it will cause my screen protector to bubble up. Hasn’t yet, but they touch. There is a cutout for the pencil to attach, and it’s a comfortable fit. The keyboard has a great key travel and feels comfortable as well. The function row has shortcut keys and since this attached by magnets, they are very easy to see and access. There is a home key where the ESC key would be, and it goes home when you don’t have a need to escape something, for instance if you have a menu open in an app, that key will back out of the menu, then hitting it again takes you to the Home Screen. The trackpad is large and sensitive. it is a click everywhere type, and is a mechanical action as opposed to a haptic feedback. Some will love this, some won’t. I don’t mind either way as long as you can click at the top and get the same actions as when you click at the bottom. This is a powered through the iPad device, so no charging is needed. It attaches to the other piece that holds the iPad, so to use the keyboard you have to use the back for the iPad, rather than just using the keyboard wirelessly or attached without the cover. Performance wise I find the keys great, but I’m noticing what I think is a software issue where it either ignores my typing or it types something else. I also notice at times the trackpad will register a touch and I have the click touch option off in settings. For this reason and the easy fingerprint issue, I would consider this a decent keyboard, pretty protective case, and versatility, that needs a few updates and possibly improved materials next go round.

When I was looking to try out the Logitech Combo Touch for my iPad pro, the main thing I was focused on was seeing how the keys felt on the keyboard and what that overall experience would be like. Normally for Apple products I don't do 3rd-party accessories...so I was interested in the keyboard experience. I have to say, after using the Logitech Combo Touch for iPad Pro, I walked away a lot more impressed with the overall protection the case provides. My iPad now feels like a completely different device. It feels a lot more "Pro." The M4 iPad pro is an awesome device. I will say however, when I purchased it without a case, it performed "Pro"...but it didn't feel as "Pro" as I would have liked. It felt delicate. When I purchased "another" case for it, it felt safer...but it still felt more like a toy. When I put the iPad Pro in the Logitech - Combo Touch...it felt solid. It felt protected. it didn't feel like a toy anymore, it felt like a Pro device. The way the case covers the iPad from all angles makes it feel like a completely different device. I feel a lot more comfortable with the iPad because it feels so much safer. Mind you, I haven't begin to talk about the experience with the keyboard yet. With the focus Logitech put into protection, one might thing the Combo Touch case might slack when it comes to the keyboard aspect...and they'd be wrong. Yes, the 11 inch iPad pro is smaller than most laptops you'd use, so a keyboard designed for that isn't going to feel exactly like using a laptop, however, for iPad OS makes navigation a lot easier, and this keyboard does it's job swimmingly. The keys feel clicky enough. Would I write a a novel on this iPad with this keyboard? Probably not...but if I didn't have another option, I wouldn't necessarily complain about it either. Adjusting to the smaller form factor didn't take much time, and I have pretty large hands. The touchpad on default is super responsive, but not too sensitive. Perfect. The backlighting on the keys is slight, but solid. This keyboard turns my M4 iPad Pro into a smaller (but probably more powerful than most) laptop easy, that I could easily take with me as a laptop replacement. I'd strongly recommend the Logitech - Combo Touch for the M4 iPad Pro 11-inch for anyone looking for a keyboard case/protection for their iPad Pro. I deducted one point as I would have preferred the case be a solid piece as opposed to the two piece set. Originally the keyboard side of the case detached a little too easy, but I haven't experienced that lately. Some may like that, but I don't. Still, I'd strongly recommend this product to anyone in the market.

As a previous owner of this keyboard/case for my old M2 iPad Pro, I was happy to see this come out for the M4 considering I have since upgraded to the M4 and I could not be happier. This has a leg up on the Magic Keyboard in a few different ways which I will list later on. For the device itself, as with the previous iteration, it is powered by the smart connector pins and features a removable keyboard and there are 4 different ways/viewing angles to use, depending on what you need it for on any given day. Personally I use it as the standard layout (keyboard attached, stand extended) or stand extended but keyboard removed for media consumption. I would use it for pencil writing as well but the little kickstand they have tends to be a little "springy" which can also mess with people that utilize the pressure sensitivity features of the Apple Pencil. On to the pros and cons: Pros: -The trackpad is very responsive has a tactile feel to it so when you press down, you will feel the click - The trackpad is about 1 1/2 times the size, both in height and in width, of the official offering from Apple (which I also have) and somehow they managed to keep the part with the keys the same size -the previous generation had a fabric covering all around which was not exactly liquid proof but this time around they used the same silicone material on the back/kickstand as Apples and under the keyboard flap, it is a hard material (aluminum maybe?) with a silicone bumper surrounding it. This gives it a sturdier feel AND allows for easier cleaning. - It does feel and appear a little thinner compared to the last model. This could be from the iPad itself being thinner as well -function keys are similiar to the Magic Keyboard but the location of the keys is a bit different and now the cons: -As with last offering, Logitech does not include anything on the top/side of the Combo Touch that will assist in holding the pencil in place. Numerous times I had slipped it into my bag only to find it would popped off. Sure there are 3rd party things you can buy (which I did) that slide between the iPad and the back cover and help prevent accidently knock offs, but it would have been nice to see something built in -The kickstand is both a boon and a hindrance. If you are tight on space, this might cause a problem if you need the kickstand extended fully but if you can afford the space, it adds a stability that the new Magic Keyboard does not have (the USB-C hinge charging port also adds a wobble when you apply any sort of pressure onto the screen) Overall, this will be my go to case for a long time to come. It offers great protection all around, 4 different viewing angles, helpful function keys AND the big one, a price point I like.

I also appreciate how the case doesn’t add much weight—one of my concerns was whether it would make my iPad too bulky, but it’s surprisingly lightweight for the level of protection it provides. It’s sleek and doesn’t feel cumbersome, which is great when I’m juggling multiple tasks or carrying a bag full of real estate materials. In my opinion, this accessory transforms the iPad into a highly functional laptop alternative. It offers a full typing experience, trackpad precision, and versatility with the detachable keyboard. For tasks like signing documents, writing emails, and even presenting during real estate showings, it’s made my workflow much smoother. Conclusion: If you’re looking to turn your iPad into a productivity powerhouse, the Logitech Combo Touch is a fantastic investment. The ease of use, no need for Bluetooth pairing, solid protection, and laptop-like experience make it ideal for anyone in a fast-paced profession like mine. It’s a practical, well-designed case that doesn’t weigh you down, and it looks sleek while doing it.

This is a great unit, with one limitation that may or may not be an issue for you. As usual with Logitech, the build quality of this case/keyboard is immaculate. Surprisingly, my favorite part is the texture. It's slightly rubberized, but not in a way that feels "industrial". It does a decent job rejecting fingerprints, and adds some grip that makes me very confident having my iPad in my hands. The typing experience is wonderful, on par with the more expensive keyboards that Apple sells. Great travel & spacing, and having the function row keys is very useful. The trackpad is responsive to all of the iPadOS gestures, and has a great click mechanism. Then there are the 2 features that set this unit apart from the first party keyboard options. The ability for the keyboard to detach is very handy for when I want to use the pencil to take notes or sketch up a diagram, or for when I am using my iPad as an eReader. The other thing is the fact that the backplate surrounds the entire iPad and gives it full protection when it's detached from the keyboard...but that's also the sticking point for me, keeping this from a full 5 stars. The backplate is very, very form-fitting. It was a bit of a struggle to get the iPad inside of it, and it's been even more than a struggle to get it out. As someone who likes to bounce from case to case with my devices, this is a little off-putting. If you're like me and you like to change frequently, keep this in mind. If you're not like me and your devices live in the same case for months or years, then this is absolutely the keyboard & case for you.
