I was excited to try the Logitech Combo Touch for iPad Pro (M4) Keyboard Case with Detachable Keyboard and Trackpad for my new iPad. I had a previous similar version for my M1 iPad Pro and was quite happy with it. This one did not disappoint. As I have been accustomed to Logitech products this case is quality made, easy to set up and work with. IT fits perfectly and I feel confident that my iPad Pro will be well protected while also letting me get the tasks done that I would need with ease. The kickstand is sturdy and allows me to adjust the way my ipad sits to fit my needs. The ability to detach the keyboard is a nice perk since sometimes I want to make things simple.The keys on the keyboard feel nice and responsive. I actually feel like the keys on this keyboard than it was when I got the similar version. I also like the large trackpad. Although I liked the Apple Magic Keyboard because it felt like I should purchase accessories from Apple I just found that this case not only functions exactly as expected but it feels much more protective at a little more budget friendly price.

I’ve been a BIG fan of Logi’s iPad accessories, having always had at least one of these for every iPad I’ve owned since my original iPad Pro in 2016. For a while, Logitech was the ONLY game in town using Apple’s native smart connectors on the back or spine of the tablet to connect for keyboards that don’t need separate batteries or even offering backlighting on a few models they’ve offered over the years. Until Apple offered their own Magic Keyboard for a significantly higher price, I’d have argued that these were even superior to many of Apple’s own accessories and “folio” products for iPad, offering better connectivity, durability, and protection for the iPad itself. I believe in previous generations Ove even discussed that in reviews. This new Combo set lives up to much of the previous hype. Redesigned for the thinner latest-generation iPads, it continues to offer a few things I love about the Combo touch sets: - Native Apple Smart Connector support: No fiddling g with separate battery charging or Bluetooth. This works just like an Apple genuine accessory with native PIN connection to the tablet - Excellent Logitech keyboard and touchpad: The generations where they’ve included a touchpad with the keyboard are excellent. This year is no exception. The key travel and typing feel are on-par with Logi’s reputation in this space. - Innovative detachability of the keyboard: This being an iPad case, I really like the detachability of the keyboard that leaves the case as a nice sturdy iPad case with kickstand when typing isn’t needed. It also provides reversibility to make the keyboard cover just part of the tent mode for movie watching out of the way. No review would be complete, without countering these niceties with the many issues I have with Logi’s latest offering though: - The new detachable keyboard feels more flimsy than previous at-bats for Logi. It’s not cheap, but not as cork and robust as previous generations. - Like the new iPad Pro (I have the nano-glass version) this new Combo case is a fingerprint magnet too!! Why did Logi abandon their woven/wool texture for this roughened plastic aesthetic that collects seemingly permanent fingerprints and requires me to wet wipe down the device a few times a day - Isn’t the point of good protection and style gear to avoid this? - The kickstand form factor is WAY less lap-able than Apples own keyboard: While Apples keyboard is almost twice as expensive, in this latest generation, they’ve nailed the “overhang” ratio and it’s so easy now to lap the Magic Keyboard, balanced and aligned properly. This Logi offering turns my iPad into a Surface Pro of sorts - Flimsy keyboard hinge and thin kickstand make it only possible to use on larger flat tabletops or desks. With the kickstand and flat keyboard approach, it also requires more depth than competing solutions overall. - my final gripe is perhaps the biggest of all: Logi designed a really nice magnetic closure into this setup that seems to use the iPad’s built-in magnetic closure which is great - But they failed to put any gaps into the design for pulling the keyboard or kickstand open when going to use it! There’s no tab area or gap for your finger to reach in and pull the kickstand open or detach the keyboard when it’s acting as the screen cover when fully folded. I keep stressing the joint of the kickstand by pulling it off too aggressively or slowly wearing a notch into the one side where I’m always picking at it to open it, and I know I’m prematurely wearing the keyboard at its link point by sliding it around away from its magnetic clasp to get it to open sometimes. Two steps forward with great support for this gen’s iPad, but a few very regrettable steps back. If you love the Surface-esque vibe this puts off it’ll serve you well, just be prepared with a tool to open it and have a deep tabletop ready and your cleaning cloth when you do.

This is the perfect case and keyboard combination for my iPad Pro. The adjustable kickstand makes it really easy to use and angle for wherever I happen to be, home or on the road. The keys are also backlit so I can use the keyboard in low light or even darkness, the backlight is also automatically adjustable based on ambient light, which is really awesome. It's also not just a couple of light levels, it easily has over a dozen for perfect visibility no matter the environment. The multi-touch trackpad is also really easy and seamless to use. The case also allows the perfect amount of space to store and charge my Apple Pencil. Overall, it is a really premium and functional case and keyboard combo. I highly recommend it to anyone looking for form and function. It is also really well made and I feel confident that my iPad Pro is protected if dropped. It also uses the smart connector technology so the iPad powers the keyboard and trackpad without having to connect using Bluetooth. It's just very responsive and I highly recommend it.

Love the stand. I have been using their keyboards for years with my ipads. The stand is outstanding. Its able to be adjusted to several settings and is great when not using the keyboard. The keyboard is every bit as good as previous models. Everything works as expected and I like it more than the Apple version because of it's mobility and flexible options. The one thing I was disappointed by though was the change in texture. I'm sure they had a reason but wow does it show fingerprints and grime. I suppose thats a good reminder that we should be cleaning our devices more. The keys have a great feel and the layout and typing experience is nice. Other than the texture change there isn't anything to complain about. They have been making these for years and it's protective, as light as a case like this can be and of high quality. If you are looking for a keyboard case or even a case with having a keyboard option when needed you really can't go wrong here. I'm a long time customer and will continue to be in the future.

I picked this up for my new 11" iPad Pro M2, because I had the original one on my 11" iPad Pro M1 and it was hands down the best keyboard combo case. So I figured since Logitech released an updated version, it's be a no-brainer to pick it up. Honestly though, I was disappointed, mostly due to the change in the materials. First and foremost, because Apple changed the dimensions of the iPad Pros, I have to say this will only fit the most recent, 2024 M2 iPad Pros. For example, my M1 iPad Pro was too thick to even fit into the casing. So do not get this unless you have the latest, 2024 M2 iPad Pro 11" model. My biggest gripe was not with the device itself, it behaved just like the original Logitech Combo Touch. The keyboard / trackpad part attaches to a strong magnet. The back part of the case includes a strong, magnetic kick stand to hold the iPad up like a laptop. The keys and trackpad are comfortable and responsive. My biggest gripe was that the original model that worked on my M1 version was a textured material that made the case feel great to hold and carry. The newer version used a slick, soft, black material that made the case feel slippery. I also found the cover didn't snap shut on the newer version like it did on the older one. This is a rare misstep in Logitech, because it's been my experience that their accessories get better over time. Maybe it's just me, but I really preferred the more premium, textured feel of my original case compared to this newer one.

The cover and keyboard are great but any kind of oil (food, lotion) on your fingers leaves a mark on the case. The other option was much better as far as staying “clean.”

Definitely great alternative for iPad Pro m4 in my own humble opinion better option than APPLE Magic Keyboard. The track pad it’s much better than Magic Keyboard in size

Preferred more than the Apple brand everything is good so far got it on sale

As ankther reciewer mentioned, this oicks up fingerprints so quickly. Another viewer mentioned the same problem Im habing with size/fit, despite it claiming to be for the size i have. Off to best buy for a refund and to find something different
