If I could give this keyboard negative start I would. I have lost buttons, the buttons I do have, have to be pressed extremely hard or multiple times to work. This keyboard is terrible.

When you take the iPad out of the case, the rubber edges start coming apart from the plastic. You need to be very careful if you ever remove the iPad from the case. I only had my case for 10 days and the edges started coming apart. I do not recommend it for the price.

Not an easy device to work with due to this piece.

Good product but not easy to keep clean. Also the material where the kickstand is looked like it was liffting and would eventually start to tear. If they had used or if they will use a different material in the future may consider. But for the price tag and not feeling lile it would last me long with out the material tearing.

Side buttons don’t work. Does not last long Very over priced for short life

Can’t rest palms on the palm rest. Palms hit touchpad and moves the mouse while typung. Do Not Buy this if you want a keyboard.

Border is getting lose, the glue used was probably not the proper one. For the price it is unacceptable. it literally is falling apart after 12 months. The case part this is, the keyboard is fine.

Summary ------- By far the best case and the keyboard combo for the ipad pro. I have tried all but this from Logitech is the value for money thing. I only buy Logitech case and keyboard as it fits like a glove and also provides the protection it needs and also functions as a keyboard. The connection is great, never disconnects. Best value in town Pros ---- 1. backlit keyboard 2. detachable keyboard 3. sturdy and full protection with more protection at the edges 4. Fits like a glove 5. charges through the ipad, never requires battery replacement Cons ---- 1. Love the price to be under $200 but sometimes you can actually find a good deal Details ------- I love Logitech cases and no one has ever built anything close to this manufacturer on keyboard cases, they are just the experts. This one for the Ipad Pro 13 inch, this one fits like a glove. The edges have great protection. This also comes with a kickstand and you if you dont need the keyboard , you can always detach it. The keyboard is also backlit and works great, the keys have a great feal to it. The trackpad is nice and clickable and pretty big. If you also use a pencil, this one also supports a pencil through a dedicated holding space. Overall if you need to convert your ipad pro to a laptop, this is the one to get

The keyboard only works part of the time. The spacebar doesn’t work at all. I can’t keep it on the ipad

Garbage, the hinge loosens up after a few weeks and slips open in your bag. The keyboard is cheap and should never have been used. The track pad jumps around, it even moves when not touching it.

I want to start by thanking the Best Buy Tech Insiders Network for sending me this Logitech - Combo Touch for iPad Pro. Right after I bought the new iPad Pro 13" M4 I decided to get a keyboard case for it. I bought a very inexpensive keyboard case online and when I got it I couldn't believe how heavy it made my iPad. The keyboard had magnets on the bottom to stick to the base of the case which was a very heavy slab of rubber coated iron which was attached to the case of the iPad and even thought I could remove the keyboard, the heavy case was permanently attached to the iPad. That would be fine if I were using the iPad just as a laptop for writing but when I wanted to hold the iPad in my hands for reading a book, magazine or comic, it was extremely heavy. I wanted something much lighter. This Logitech case was made much differently. The keyboard is attached to the base of the case but is held on magnetically to the frame. When I want to sit back and read from the iPad, I remove the keyboard and the iPad is just a little heavier than a bare iPad. It does add protection to the back and edges of the iPad though. The back of the iPad case has a flap that sticks magnetically to the back of the case and can be opened so it acts as a stand for the iPad with or without the keyboard attached. The previous keyboard required charging it separately using a USB-C charger whereas this Logitech case charges the keyboard when the iPad is charging since it is connected to the iPad using the little pin connectors. The keyboard is illuminated and has a row of function keys that will control the brightness and volume of the iPad, advance pause or reverse audio tracks, activate Siri, take a screenshot, and turn on do not disturb. When using the trackpad, a small gray circle moves around on the screen like a mouse cursor so you can click on things rather than click on the screen and you can even draw using the trackpad in an art app. The case of course has the cutout holes for the mics and speakers and buttons that let you change the volume if you are using the case without the keyboard attached. This case really turned my iPad into a full fledged laptop and sells for a lot less than the Apple branded one. I'm really loving it.

Very poor craftsmanship. Mine is already separating at the edges after one month. Mouse pad is too large and easily activated accidentally while trying to type. Will not buy another one ever again.

It’s ok at best. It sometimes doesn’t work when you want to type it has to be at just the right angle. I wish I spent the extra money.

One can never go wrong when they go with a Logitech product and this keyboard case for the latest iPad Pro is just the latest example of their quality. This keyboard case is first off not so heavy as to make using it awkward yet has a feel of protection that is reassuring. One upside I appreciate is the fact that it does not require any charging and draws power from the smart connector on the side of the device as well as connecting for use of the keyboard. It's nice to have to not jump through all the hoops of connecting the iPad via Bluetooth. The extra nice part is that I've not seen too big of a battery drain on the iPad using this for the past week of using it. The part of the case on the back of the iPad has a built in stand that offers a wide range of angles to use the iPad with. There is a cutout to plug in and charge the iPad as well as space to connect your Apple Pencil for charging. In other words it does not interfere with you being able to use your iPad. In the most basic of descriptions is that this keyboard case is one that provides some protection for your iPad while also giving an excellent keyboard without costing hardly any power and avoiding the hassle of having to wirelessly connect to your iPad.

The Logitech combo touch keyboard case for the iPad pro 13-in model with the m4 chip gives tons of flexibility and convenience for using your iPad. Aesthetically, it offers a sleek look to the iPad, making it look more like an actual laptop, and it gives it a very professional look. The case features a kickstand which is excellent, especially if you want to use your iPad at a convertible desk that can be both standing and sitting. It has a wide range of flexibility, giving you many viewing angle options. The keyboard is also removable if you are watching movies on a small surface, using your iPad more as an ebook reader, or drawing on it. Being able to remove the keyboard is a nice feature, when you need it, but for the most part you will probably just leave the keyboard connected. Another feature that I absolutely have to have on keyboards these days is being backlit. The keyboard is backlit and features a multi-touch trackpad with excellent sensitivity. All of these great features are fantastic, accompanied by the fact that this case also adds protection for your iPad to help protect it from drops and other accidents.

Arrived damaged. Packaged badly without enough packing materials. Box got wet and collapsed, had to be retaped, and arrived as a tangled mess with holes.

Not like it use to be and I couldn’t keep it to stay in place. The old one for 12.9 was better

Anyone with an iPad who is interested in replacing their laptop or have a much better typing experience needs to purchase a case that also incorporates a keyboard. Given the charging ports built in to the iPad Pro, having a stand alone bluetooth keyboard may be a solution, but it can also be a pain as it will not maintain a charge through the iPad, meaning one more charging cable to carry around. Additionally, the iPad needs to be propped up (unless you want to use the iPad flat on a desk, your lap, or some other surface). Apple does make a case/keyboard combo that works great and really bridges the gap between laptop and iPad. However, this solution directly from Apple is not perfect as the keyboard is an integral part of the setup, so if you want to prop up your iPad and watch a movie (without having to worry about the bulk associated with a deployed keyboard), you are out of luck. That is where the Logitech Combo Touch comes into play. The Combo Touch has a case that envelops the sides and back of the iPad. While I did not subject my personal iPad to a drop test to see just how good the protection is, I am fairly confident it is better than with Apple's solution as this case goes around the entirety of the iPad (as opposed to just magnetically attaching to the back of the iPad without any protection for the sides/edges. The Logitech Combo Touch also has a kickstand off the rear that allows for positioning of the iPad vertically (you can stand it up, just as it shows in the picture). One other feature of the Combo Touch is that the keyboard can be completely removed or folded back so that the iPad can be used without the keyboard. Also, when attached, the keyboard is powered by the iPad itself, so no separate charging concerns exist. The problem that arises, however, is that the flexibility to remove the keyboard also diminishes the functionality of. the Combo Touch when trying to use it with an iPad in a laptop fashion. The Combo Touch must be used on a flat surface that has ample space to accommodate the keyboard (and the kickstand off the rear). Personally, this means no using it in bed because I cannot set the unit down on my lap without it falling over. I also cannot use it on an airplane because the trays are too short and, as I just mentioned, I also cannot place it on my lap without it falling over. (This is not a problem with Apple's solution, however, as the hinge mechanism results in the iPad resting over the keyboard, which serves as the base of the iPad in quasi-laptop mode, for lack of a better thing to call it.) The top row of function keys on the Combo Touch are also just slightly different than included in Apple's solution. This is not a big deal, personally. The user just has to be familiar with the function keys on his or her particular solution and go from there. The keyboard is comfortable to type on and the touchpad works well. Again, on a flat surface with adequate room, the Combo Touch works great. If your surface is not flat/stable, however, there are issues.

The Logitech Touchpad for iPad Pro 13 has made my iPad feel so much more productive. The trackpad itself is smooth and accurate, and using gestures feels natural. It’s honestly a huge quality-of-life improvement when I’m typing emails, navigating long documents, or switching between apps. It turns the iPad into more of a laptop-like experience without losing the tablet feel. I got mine in Sand, and it looks fantastic. It’s a nice break from traditional black or gray, and it still feels premium. The keys have good travel and feel comfortable for longer typing sessions. I can knock out work without feeling cramped. My only small issues: I had a little learning curve getting used to how the trackpad interacts with iPadOS. Sometimes gestures don’t act exactly how I expect at first — but after a few days it became second nature. Also, the touchpad cover adds a bit of bulk compared to using the iPad naked, but it’s worth it for the functionality. Overall, this is a great accessory if you’re serious about productivity on your iPad without carrying a full laptop.

This Logitech Combo Touch keyboard case, hardware wise, worked much better with the iPad Pro than I expected when I requested It. I noticed when I put the case on to the iPad Pro, there were three metal connectors touching the iPad Pro which were also present where the keyboard connected to the case, so the keyboard does not appear to need to be charged separately in order to be used (which I was used to on other tablet keyboards i’ve used). If you’ve ever used one of the Windows-based combination tablet/PC computers (such as the Surface Pro) with detachable keyboard, this works similar to the keyboards/stands on those machines. Multi-touch on the touchpad lets me 2-finger scroll or pinch-to-zoom for example, and it appears that with three fingers I can switch between recent apps. When I first set up this keyboard/trackpad, it appeared tap-to-click was enabled based on unwanted clicking while I was typing, later on when I checked this setting and confirmed it was off it behaved better and it appeared the unwanted clicks stopped. You can find this setting under Settings->General->Trackpad. The keyboard features backlit keys which is useful if you type in the dark. There are keys which adjust the brightness of the key backlighting. The keyboard keys were very natural for me to adjust to, coming from being used to a MacBook air keyboard. It’s also terrific that the keyboard magnetically detaches from the case for when you just want to use it as a tablet (for example, setting up a presentation you may want the keyboard/trackpad, but giving the presentation you may want to go without it). While there is no obvious place to store an Apple Pencil Pro, there is an area you can magnetically clip the pencil to the side of the iPad Pro (the case allows that). The pencil seems to hold securely, though you might need to worry about tapping it against something and losing the pencil. I would’ve preferred if this had a slot which held the Pencil Pro in place to reduce the likelihood of losing the Pencil Pro. I may deduct 1 star from the rating because there is no place to secure an apple pencil in storage, only the magnetic hold built into the iPad. Other than the Pencil carrying issues (and I don’t use mine daily anyway), I would easily otherwise recommend this keyboard, and expect I will get a lot of daily use out of it. The Logitech Combo Touch keyboard case will let me use the iPad Pro in ways I previously could not.
