This is by far one of the most disappointing, especially for it's price point. The real issue is the trackpad. It provides poor feedback, and just moving your hands over the keys while typing, will cause it to pick up input, move the cursor somewhere randomly, and detail what you are trying to do. The reason I gave it 2 stars instead of 1 is that I am able to remove the keyboard and just use it with the stand on the back. Overall, it is NOT a premium keyboard and has no reason to have the price it does at full retail. Even on sale at $200 it is a bad choice and I would look for something different. I do not recommend this Logitech product and think they need to redesign it.

I was torn between the Apple Magic case and ultimately landed on this one because of the price no regrets and I’m actually super happy. I saved the money and went with this case. The detachable keyboard is another thing that really sold me!

First time to get to separate the iPad stand from the keyboard and I’m still getting used to it. Nice strong magnet to hold it all together.

However, the utility and functionality of this particular keyboard is amazing! I love being able to detach the iPad from the keyboard magnetically. The only thing is that the design only allows you to place the iPad in hard and stable surfaces. It definitely makes the iPad more heavy - like an laptop.

Unlike the MagicPad from Apple, that doesn't even have a protective case. It is hard to balance on your lap if you don't have table or sturdy surface available, also the metal backing shows a lot of fingerprint smears. Other than that, top notch!

Decent alternative to magic keyboard

The fit and finish are solid. However, using it in the field and trying to set it up on your lap for quick access is not great. And the rigidity just isnt there if you are always opening/closing. Ended up returning and buying the Apple Magic keyboard. Keep in mind that the logitech takes up more space when set up on the table due to the kick stand, relative to the apple magic keyboard.

Only point against it is that the material is so easy to smudge and pretty difficult to clean. Nearly any time you touch it, fingerprints are left.

Much Improved Over Previous Gen

With the thinness of the new M4 iPads, I find myself going to this case more often than the Apple Magic Keyboard case. The trackpad is much better than the previous gen case.
