I was back and forth between this and Apple Magic Keyboard. Although the magic keyboard is premium and awesome, the ability to remove the keyboard magnetically has been a gamechanger. The keyboard powered on by iPad itself is also groundbreaking.

Good Product for a Previous Generation iPad

The only negative is that when typing it is easy to hit the trackpad and have the screen jump to where the trackpad went. I've read that this has been a common issue. Disabling the trackpad in iPad settings did not alleviate it. My only workaround was to adjust the trackpad speed to the slowest.

Ipad keyboard case

The only downside for me, is I use it on my lap alot. The old version had the ipad coming forward to connect to the keyboard. This one, the stand is in the back, so it’s a little awkward for using it on your lap.

Keys are really receptive, able to access your emojis with a press of a button. Magnets that hold on key board are extremely solid keeping a firm hold on to case
