A better option than the Apple Magic Keyboard

I’ve owned a few Apple Magic Keyboards, but I never end up using them long term. I’ve even tried the somewhat protective plastic shell case that fits with the iPad in the Apple Magic Keyboard, but it was frustrating to use. Now that I have the Logitech Combo Touch Keyboard, I can’t see myself ever going back. The combination of protection and finctionality for $100 less than the Apple branded option just can’t be beat.

Simply purchase it. You will be happy that you did. Since I've never used an iPad before, I don't know what to expect from them. Cases serve more purposes than merely keeping the gadget safe. Additionally, a case can substantially improve the device's usage. For this iPad, I had previously purchased two other cases, both of which I had returned. The iPad was just not improved. I didn't want to invest this much money in a case. The cost of this item is prohibitive, but after eventually pulling the trigger, I understood how much more this is than a case. Both the touchpad and the keys are fantastic. I initially planned on using the touchpad solely while connecting remotely to Windows machines from the iPad, but I really use it frequently, especially for scrolling and movements. The play, pause, mute, and volume controls on the keyboard are also a fantastic addition. It's so much simpler to push a genuine key than to touch through for such functions. Additionally, since you don't have a virtual keyboard taking up half of your screen, it is much better to fill out forms, write emails, and send messages. The case is powered directly from the iPad's smart connector, which is the icing on the confection contemplating all of the above.

The solid build seems to protect the iPad well, but it does add weight. If you can do without the trackpad, there's a Logitech model without the trackpad, which means you have a larger and more comfortable keyboard.
I wish that they had added an additional fold-out flap on the BOTTOM, so that it would feel more stable if you're using this on your lap or while reclining. There just aren't a lot of good choices, and at least this has the function keys (unlike Apple's Magic Keyboard). I did a lot of research before I bought this, and for my purposes, this seems to be the best one.

This Logitech Combo Touch is a game-changer for my iPad Pro 11". The keyboard is comfortable, backlit, and easily detachable. The case feels sturdy and looks sleek in Oxford Gray. Makes typing, browsing, and protecting the iPad super easy. Totally worth it!

Love the new case. Keyboard works great. My previous model had a flap that kept the pencil secure when closed. I miss that feature.

The case is a little heavy, but it’s great. It’s so much better to type on than the screen. I can leave my laptop at home when I travel now, even if I have some big document to review and edit.
We're thrilled to hear that the Logitech Combo Touch Keyboard Case has transformed your iPad experience! Your ability to leave your laptop at home is a testament to the product's versatility. Thank you for sharing your positive experience!

I love this set up! It provides my iPad protection Most importantly, the shell provides protection to the iPad. Second, the keyboard allows the iPad to be a powerful laptop, especially with the built in mouse pad. When you combine this, you have a portable protected power laptop, which can go anywhere, and with cellular, connective keeps you connected 24/7!

Love it Love it Love it
Would recommend this over the Magic keyboard
It covers fully your IPad Pro (there is a space left open for the pencil).
It light and easy to carry with the IPad Pro
Drawbacks are no pencil holder and no usb-c pass through charging port
If you can deal with those two issues then this is the one for you
If not then get the magic keyboard and a cover buddy

This keyboard cases allows for the ipad to be used from multiple angles, protects the ipad. The case material does not show finger prints like the magic keyboard does. Using this on ones lap is maneuverable but not ideal. If the price were discounted I would have kept it. It chas a place (indented) for the Apple Pencil, but the pencil still came off and was lost. This made me decide to return it.

I have been using the Combo for over a week now and love it. I took it on a beach trip with me and it made my iPad pro into a laptop. I was able to do pretty much anything I would do with my laptop with it. When it was in the evening and I wanted to watch something I would pull the Keyboard off and hold it and while laying down. I even used it for work purposes. The keyboard magnetics hold well to the case. Logitech hit it out of the park with the Combo Touch.

Absolutely love this keyboard combo. Bought the Apple Magic Keyboard first and did not like it at all. It made my iPad feel very heavy and you can’t detach the keyboard. The Logitech is much lighter - feels more than the couple ounce difference - and being able to remove the keyboard is the best. The only thing that would make it perfect is if there was some sort of covering to swap out the keyboard with for protection when you don’t need the keyboard.

I wasn’t thrilled about the Apple Magic keyboard not having the function buttons. Plus it didn’t seem like it would be too sturdy unless on a flat solid surface. And then there was the price!!
I was excited to find this cover/keyboard combo! I love having the touchpad when I want to use my iPad Pro more like a laptop. And it does have the function buttons and was about half the price.
Only thing I’m not wild about is the keyboard doesn’t flip around like other covers. If you want to use it just as a tablet you have to detach the keyboard and set it somewhere.

This is THE keyboard folio to get for your iPad Pro. The Apple one is nice and all, but offers zero protection for your $1000 tablet. It works amazingly with nice features like the keyboard folding under the case (with the Apple one you remove the iPad from the case).

Very pretty color but since it is light, it gets dirty easily. I’ve had it about a year and it still looks very clean except for around the edges (from carrying it in bags). It’s not too difficult to clean though, so I do recommend. Besides that it’s great quality for the price, I highly recommend.

I love this keyboard case. I used it while I was in school and this combo was so useful and compact that I had sold my MacBook because I needed the money lol but this combo touch literally carried me to graduation so if you are hesitant on buying it, I definitely recommend. I also have the Magic Keyboard as well but I preferred the Logitech due to its flexibility and there are actual function keys on the keyboard.
