It fits and works well in the little time I have it. However, I want to let you know that if you plan to connect 3rd party devices such as an adapter for external monitors, be sure the connector on your device matches the size of the ipad charger connector exactly. The edges of the case are so close to the port that a connector larger than Apple will not sit all the way in the USB port as it hits the case first. I called Logitech and they stated this is a known concern. They were friendly, but unfortunately, would not provide any assistance in locating an adapter that would work with their product.

The apple one forces your iPad to be used as a laptop only with the case on.
