This keyboard is a huge upgrade and protects the iPad very well. The keyboard allows me to use the iPad in place of a laptop for a lot of needs and situations. The shortcut keys are a huge benefit; I'm personally not a huge trackpad fan in general, but the trackpad does add versatility and I can see it as a huge benefit to those that like using one.

It was a gift for my wife on mothers day. She says it has made her time on the Ipad Air, so much more productive. She had tried the Apple keyboard, but the Logitech to be of better quality, and more user friendly, and at less than 1/2 the price. Highly recommend this Combo keyboard

I was concerned about the price tag. I took the plunge based on other positive reviews. Now after using it for about an hour I can report that the quality of this product is excellent. It works as advertised. If you want to turn your iPad into a somewhat effective mobile PC, this product will do that for you. It's still a bit pricey but I'm glad I didn't skimp.

I love the trackpad and the ease of use the only thing is sometimes the iPad doesn’t recognize it and I just have to clip the keyboard and then reattach it to the case

The downside is that the iPad is not easily removable, but that's not an issue because with the keyboard detached, the case doesn't affect the ability to hold the iPad in your hand. I like the fact that the keyboard connects via the connectors provided on the iPad, so no Bluetooth and no battery charging as for my previous keyboard folio. I have no idea how long the hinge on the kickstand will last, but so far so good.
