It has a strong, sturdy surface, The keyboard is detachable due to a powerful magnet on the edge of the keyboard. It's very easy to remove or add the keyboard to the IPad.

It props up well when on a table. The keyboard remains closed and snugged to protect the screen when in travel.

We bought one a while back and left it in Disney-went to buy again and they were out of stock so we bought a different brand (awful) finally replaced the original!!! Love this keyboard!

Works very smooth and material is nice

Material makes the case feel like nice quality. The one thing that would be nice is if the keyboard could be flipped over when not in use. When you flip it over it naturally separates from the main case. I leave the keyboard behind when I know it won’t be needed. I sent a cheaper case back when I got this. Don’t go cheap you will regret it. I would recommend this case.

I had bought a cheaper one elsewhere and was very disappointed. So, despite the price, I decided to buy this one...and I do not regret it. The keys are very nice and I like the slight click sound they make. The trackpad is a nice feature and works very well. It offers very good protection, which is wonderful, because I have a habit of dropping things. I highly recommend the protection plan.

I like that you don’t have to use Bluetooth, the keyboard is ready to use every time. My only criticism is when you text, if you hit return for the next paragraph-your text gets sent! You have to press “ alt” at the same time you Press “return”, then it will start a new paragraph. This isn’t the only keyboard that has this issue-every one I have used does it as well. It may be something that always requires 2 steps. I would recommend this keyboard.
