So that made the purpose for buying it that much more enjoyable. In turn i was ready for my new job before the dead line of all tools needed.

It is a good fit for my iPad and you can attach/detach it from the keyboard. I like how it has a pencil holder for the Apple pencil or whatever stylus you have. One thing to note that I have had issues with is sometimes the keyboard doesn't work when I turn the iPad back on from sleep mode, and I have to detach it and attach it again. Not a big deal and it is a good case overall, but for the $150 price tag, I shouldn't be having issues with it constantly. So I did end up returning.
